Couldn't agree more. I haven't had one etheric light yet as I don't have the time. Previously I could do a few checkpoints of raids and eventually get the gear I needed then do bounties to level it up. Now we're expected to spend hours in trials or PoE (which goes against everything I've ever read about safe gameplay) to be able to ascend gear. I've lost the will to play destiny anymore as I don't think I'm going to be able to get to 34 and have maxed weapons without it taking me months. I got Witcher 3 on Saturday and haven't put destiny back in the disc drawer since. Its a real shame as I've loved playing destiny since September but I don't have the desire to do it anymore as it won't get me anywhere. Starting to feel left behind.
