You act like this game should be geared towards only pve. PvP took a back seat pre dlc with horrible drops and something that came around once a month. Finally get something for PvP and u have to go and crap on it? Learn how to play PvP and get etheric light that way. Trials is the best game mode Destiny has. It's a nice rush and just overall very fun!
