Level 34 means nothing.
Light level now means nothing. It is way too easy to reach the highest level. Bunch of scrubs running around as 34's.
Grimoire/Medal score is all that is left.
RULE - You are not allowed to post negative comments about me unless you have a higher Grimoire score.
Edit 1: Raids are a dying art. In a few months, players won't even know what a Praetorian foil or Fang of Ir Yut even look like. :(
Edit 2: Soon I am going to finally delete one of my hunters for a Titan. Been meaning to do it for months now. Already have all the armor and etheric light for him in my vault. He will be a 34 the same or very next day I create him... So silly.

1 RespuestaI feel that it wasn't supposed to be hard to get to 34 if you played a decent amount, it was more about having max level with any setup you want. If they would've made it harder to get to 34, people would've complained about the grind some more. It's so you can have a good 34 PvP setup on CQC maps and longer range maps, 34 PoE setups, and different ones for different subclasses. It was so people could run anything they want with whatever stat/perk loadout they can find. Wouldn't really call this a negative post, but just in case, don't read this until I go and collect the last 30+ ghosts I'm missing. That will put my grimoire higher than yours, and then I'll message you and say you can read this.

Grim score means little. Watch a video go pick up ghosts. RNG a few weapons. Get carried through a couple of activities. And most everything else is just a mater of hours spent. Personally I like the new light system. Finally everyone don't look the same. Light lvls are now earned more by skill than by dumb luck. Complete 34 & 35 get etheric light. Complete trials get etheric light. The grind is still there. I personally try to keep one weapon of each type and element, excluding exotics. So that's a lot of etheric light and or RNG drops. Then there's armor. 3-4 pieces non exotic + extra gear with special perks for crota and PoE + pvp load outs. Still just as much grind if not more. The difference is you can choose your gear and get consistent rewards.

My favorite part? The "rule!" That was a fantastic joke!! I'm OK with more people at high level. Just makes it easier to do end game activities.

I agree somewhat but I don't think it's all grimore as ghost hunting and basically everyday destiny actions obtain grimore

5 RespuestasI agree on some points and completely disagree on others just cuz I have a lower grim score doesn't mean I'm terrible what matters is how I play the game some people just look for the ghosts to boost scores.

It means a lot now during iron banner to start , and to finish your grim score isn't that high so u might have a lot of players coming at u especially when u put that in title haha

If you pve, light level is your reward to get pitted against the same mobs that out-level you--eventually making it close or of equal level. Having the highest light level never really meant much, even though people who don't typically raid or care for raids wanted the number cap next to their chars' name for whatever reason. At least this time you need to complete PoE or ToO to get it up for the most part...TDB was a lot easier to get your light up without even completing the content.

4 RespuestasYou have casuals to blame for that. Casuals are the reason we could have gotten 34 day one. Casuals are the reason we have Xur (to hand out exotics to them). Casuals are the reason we have the prison. Casuals are the reason Bungie is working on optional matchmaking instead of an auto rifle buff, a new raid or who knows what else. All because lazy, stupid people can't use a website effectively.
