The Lighthouse is bullshit and needs to be changed
No content in this game should be available only to those in the top 10% of crucible players. You wanna give them a shader, emblem, or class item? Fine. But a whole area exclusive to them? With a chest containing some of the best gear in the game? Completely unacceptable. They don't deserve it. They don't need it.
All this "lighthouse" area does is promote elitism and ultimately makes this game far less appealing.
And before you say "git gud scrub" you should know that not everyone is capable of getting better. Everyone has limits, and most peoples' limits are much lower than those who are good enough to get into the Lighthouse. It's existence is a slap in the face to 90% of the playerbase.
[b]Every Guardian in Destiny has the right to access the Lighthouse and obtain the gear from it's chest.[/b] But that's not possible, and until the requirements for accessing it are changed, it never will be.
[b]Edit:[/b] Just for clarity, I'm not saying this should be given out freely. That's an assumption you've made on your own. I do think it should be earned, but the requirements for earning it should be such that it can be enjoyed by most of the player-base. Not just the best crucible players and those they carry with them.

Now with elemental primaries out of the mix there is really no reason for those who cant get to the lighthouse to even try. and yes I lack the skill to do the same.

1 RespuestaYou could look at oryx the same way; some people aren't good enough to beat him. Should they be entitled to all the gear from there as well? Going flawless is definitely harder but operates on the same principle. At what point is it not ok? If it's just because it's a PVP activity then that's a pretty bad argument. You don't see people whining to get oryx gear when they can't beat him. This doesn't even mention you can get the exact same guns without going flawless. There's nothing truly exclusive about going flawless, other than aesthetic differences and the emblem. Anything you get non -adept can be infused to the same levels.

The only issue I have is the nature of the gear. Giving the best pvp players even better guns is kind of problematic. First of all, they didn't need them to wreck everyone on the way to the lighthouse the first time. Now they have an additional advantage that they didn't even need. Next, anyone trying to get there afterwards has a harder fight than the people that did it first. I think they should be rewarded. Make them look like ultimate bad aces. Give them shaders, emblems, faster sparrows, and cool ships. However, giving even more powerful weapons and armor to those that are already dominating seems like a bad idea. At least now you can get gear via bounties, which should help, I hope.

Editado por I Rap Monster I: 11/9/2015 9:12:54 PMAs a 294 I was not accepted into raid groups at all, but now trials is here and it's the one place where I can show others I can hold my own weight and pass them in the leader board Trails is the PvP "raid" :3 I've helped carry people before TTK came out I carried 8+ people with my friend because it was easy for one and two sniping on Widows court is needed cx my E-Spear (no final round) was my baby and helped get us there :3

I completely disagree besides one point: Dat Grimoire. I don't thing the grimoire for it should be more exclusive than the Playstation exclusive crap.

The chest is the reward for being the 10% Why give it to people who arnt part of it. The location you can see on the Internet. This game is not gona give you a participation medal it aint kindergarten, I think.

Just helped carry my first guardian to the lighthouse in year 2 :') previously carried 8 in year 1. So no, it's not bullshit. Just talk to your team mates. If you can't get flawless it's because you don't deserve it. Or maybe, you're just not in the 15%

It's also largely RNG in hoping you get good light from armor. Either way, this generation huh? Wants everything handed to them. It's an empty area, you can just watch videos of it and be done with it. Sure if it had things worth in it, yeah I would understand. But it's empty, it's just a giant glorified loot chest. (Sorry that you actually have to work for something god forbid.) Bungie wants players to be skilled in both PvE and PvP.

I am a year one, been to the lighthouse before, tried this week with my friends, we had 5-0 and then two teams with red bars. It was horrible shooting then or hitting them with melee, hit a guy three times and still didn't die, definitely done with trials

That right there is what you call a losers mentality. That is why you can't get to the lighthouse. There is absolutely no limit to how good one can get.
