No content in this game should be available only to those in the top 10% of crucible players. You wanna give them a shader, emblem, or class item? Fine. But a whole area exclusive to them? With a chest containing some of the best gear in the game? Completely unacceptable. They don't deserve it. They don't need it. All this "lighthouse" area does is promote elitism and ultimately makes this game far less appealing. And before you say "git gud scrub" you should know that not everyone is capable of getting better. Everyone has limits, and most peoples' limits are much lower than those who are good enough to get into the Lighthouse. It's existence is a slap in the face to 90% of the playerbase. [b]Every Guardian in Destiny has the right to access the Lighthouse and obtain the gear from it's chest.[/b] But that's not possible, and until the requirements for accessing it are changed, it never will be. [b]Edit:[/b] Just for clarity, I'm not saying this should be given out freely. That's an assumption you've made on your own. I do think it should be earned, but the requirements for earning it should be such that it can be enjoyed by most of the player-base. Not just the best crucible players and those they carry with them.
