He can say a lot of things back that aren't so insensitive. He's in the public eye and some may look up to him as a role model. He could have argued facts if he had them. IOTW how many players, watchers on his stream etc. "Destiny is dying" isn't a personal attack and his response was unwarranted.

from what I read the troll was being disruptive in the feed for about 30 minutes before TripleBeam said anything. should Bungie ban every forum user that uses "kill yourself" as a dismissive? has the "victim" even complained about it? people are getting bent out of shape over something they heard a stranger said to another stranger, but they wernt there to witness is & have no idea how anyone involved feels about it. that's just silly. as far as young viewers that may look up to this guy: that falls on the parents. if your child enjoys watching unregulated content on the Internet, it's your responsibility to filter what he/she sees or hears. the only thing the broadcaster owes the viewer is content. not life lessons.

IDK. I wasn't there and can't speak on it. But it's never ok to tell someone to kill themselves. Regardless. There are better ways to deal with trolls. Feeding them only makes it worse.
