Why do you use Thorn/Last Word in crucible?
I'm not saying they are op. I'm not asking for a nerf. I'm just curious about why people use them.

1 RespuestaI first answer with it being a cool weapon but that isn't how I feel. It is a fun weapon. People like to use shotguns. I don't care, I use them to, specially when running solo but I like to snipe. I suck at it but it feels good to get headshots. It is the best weapon against charging shot gunners while sniping. But I also like using other weapons. It helps prevent the game from getting stale.

Mainly to combat shotguns since almost every map promotes cqc

The tlw isn't op it's name skill is just broken, which in turn gives people kills they shouldn't get. That perk should only give the bonus damage on crits from hip fire, but as we know you get the bonus even when you aim down site. Not only that you get bonus damage when firing from the hip on body shots. It's easy to avoid getting killed by it though

I used to use the last word (my first exotic from a nightfall) but that was in December.

duh. I play to have fun. if I win I have more fun. these guns are fun. so I have fun while having fun while winning to have fun.

They are both cool, and an effective way too win [spoiler]people keep yelling for nerf but if that does happen everyone will use the two shot pulse rifles[/spoiler]

I enjoy using them. But I also use other weapons, like my 3 Little Words. I occasionally decide to be a masochist and try an Auto Rifle.

If I see another using thorn, I wipe mine out. (You know what I mean) and wreck havoc and say to myself, you brought it upon yourself

I use hawkmoon/thorn mostly. Don't like tlw. It sucks in my opinion but does look badass lol.

I use thorn sometimes, depends on map. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and it's great if you get head shots but so are most weapons. Tlw is super cool shootin like a cowboy but I'm not great with the gun. I still love the vex.

2 RespuestasI don't use them. I have them both, I've tried using them, sure they are good but it's just not my playstyle. I am more into auto rifles and scouts. :)

There's always that one player who religiously uses it that I run into during a play session. I always have pull mine out and put their nose to the ground. So usually one match out of the night I accept a personal challenge to get that one person.

I do use them but only when we are losing then I whip out thorn and get the team though

I decided that my hunter would use a hand cannon and I have both so I use either one

I love the way TLW looks. And the animation it has is awesome. I love the old western style "6 shooter" feel it has. That's why I use it. Some matches I do well, most I do not. I just simply enjoy using it

I simply use TLW since I feel like a badass flipping that thing around.

My first exotic was Thorn, which was prebuff status. I loved it and still love it (yes, i used prebuff thorn in crucible and enjoyed it.)

A hand cannon is the best partner for a sniper

I used to use suros but thorn or tlw would kill be before I could even get enough shots off so I switched and -blam!- it's so much easier now

I use thorn if I'm trying to go super try hard and win, and I use TLW if I want to have fun.
