This isn't what Destiny should be. Valus Ta'aurc, also known as "Rockets McDickface", was simething different... Something fun.
Everybody hated him.
We can all admit that we loved to hate him.
Today I killed Valus in about 20 seconds and didn't struggle at all.
But that isn't fun.
Valus was the run-and-hide boss; a boss with a lot of health and a lot of attack.
Kids today don't get it, but there's something fun in struggling. It's those "Oh-Shit" moments that making gaming a challenge.
That little bit of challenge made it fun.
Now, Valus is just... Weak.
This game was always fun, and lots of that fun was in the Oh-Shits and the struggles and the DAMNIT JUAN WE'LL HAVE TO WIPE AGAIN.
Now...
Edit: notice they got rid of lots of additionals also.
I think people love to hate me also.
Bring on the hate. Let it out.

Instead of being bullet sponges, strike bosses should be more like raid bosses. They should force you to think and not just hide and shoot.
-
They just needed to fix the part where he can start shooting at us 8 years before we can shoot him

4 RespuestasYou can never please this community. At first- "We don't like Valus! It takes too long to do! I'm gonna leave vanguard roc every time it gives it to me!" Now- "Valus is too easy! We want him back the way it was before!
How many guardians does it take to screw in a light bulb?

100. One to screw it in, 99 to complain how it was better before.
-
Dude don't worry. Just wait until we have a Valus nu burn nightfall.
-
If you want to struggle, use green guns.
-
1 RespuestaValus has always been a piece of cake. It's just that before the patch, he was a very rubbery, unappetising piece of cake that took really long to chew and swallow.
-
Agree. It was fun.
-
I agree he is a egg shell now!! I think actual hide and run spots needed to be added not health reducing also I think people did not leave because of the fact he had a huge health bar but the fact it took so long to get threw each area before you even get to him
-
It was a good idea to nerf his health but maybe not that much
-
Really? You sir, make me feel sorry for bungie. Everyone's begged them for the nerf on his health for as long as I can remember. The second they do so, you hate it?
-
I just don't like the room you're stuck in ... There are too many ads for the space ... The undying mind is a much bigger bullet sponge but the final battle is a bit more open and better structured ... Takes time but you can have some fun in that one.
-
Don't think health matters. Ran a roc earlier today. Other 2 left as soon as the screen loaded.
-
Don't care either way. The strike is shit from start to finish, which is why people leave it. A joke of a boss (which he is now, no two ways about it) doesn't alter this fact in any way, shape or form.
-
Instead of nerfing him, they should have changed it so that he dropped better gear.
-
Should have just made his critical hit box larger. But since they didn't I'm glad the health was reduced. It was tedious, not challenging.
-
4 RespuestasI think the stikes should be harder. All of them. Outside of raids they should be the second hardest thing to complete. Instead everyone wants to be able to just blow through them. If you guys don't want to have to actually put up a fight, they have several other choices that have lower difficulty.
-
How'd this end up going for ya?
-
I was going to comment "nah" so that was very cool that you had it as a poll option!
-
Don't bring him back all the way, just part of the way.
-
33% was way too much, he feels weaker than Sepkis Prime now.
-
2 RespuestasHa no ones going to say yes. People what things as easy as possible that's why he got nerfed in the first place.
-
4 RespuestasMr. OP, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
-
Do you know why everyone hated him? Because he wasn't fun.
-
A 15% nerf would've been enough it feels like 33 was too much

Editado por SalineVampire: 4/20/2015 8:56:09 PMThe issue is the Valus has never really been a challenge. He's just been the boss with a metric shit ton of HP. Nothing was difficult about him. Edit* Nothing is difficult about any of the XboxOne strikes actually. Hell I ran 5 strikes back to back without dying for the first part of that stupid bounty on Saturday with my Warlock.

They are making the game so much easier than it already was because this game is catered to whiny spoiled brats.
