After reading several threads in different forums about nerfing this and buffing that, please give/sell me this or increase drop rate for that, or let me complain about the grind I had to do to receive an item that I already have, that there is an underlying theme to these posts that make up half the forums. It occurs to me as I spend more time in these forums that half of the feedback/complaints are built around whether RNGesus loves or hates us. Are we picking on the trees rather than the forest? What are your thoughts on RNGesus? Would a progressive system like you see in Skyrim be more favorable? I see value in both. The RNG keeps you coming back to by another lottery ticket which finances the end game, but the progressive system would allow you to apply your grind to the items you want, or better allow for the crafting/customization of items in the game. Personally, I would like to see them change to a progressive path … even if Destiny doesn't have an Oghma Infinium. What do you think?
