The more I think about it.. Isn't it more about the need to be accepted or wanted? Example: If everyone has one.. Then no one needs me for a raid anymore. So many lfg posts demand max gjallarhorn when there really are viable alternatives. Sure, it's easier to down Crota... But it can be done with any rocket if there's teamwork, coordination, and communication. Gjally just makes it easier. A community should be just that.. It should be inclusive.. Not exclusive. It's depressing how toxic some of these posts are. [spoiler]i have one gally.. If xur sold it.. I'd buy more. [/spoiler] [spoiler]it's powerful enough that it could be game breaking.. But I'd love for people who grinded for hours to be able to have one, regardless of how they came upon it.[/spoiler]
