Go to vendor and buy a helm with perks that give you health when you pick up orbs. Most vendor have one of that helm.

Infusion on the mask is the third eye(exotic helm) or suros regime or If your lucky to have a red death.

Raid helmet, mask of the third man, or anything that regens health when picking up orbs of light. Fast twitch and hungering blade perks on the blade dancer subclass are also great, seeing as how your blink strike cools down in 5 seconds and you can use it again, but you also need to kill an enemy for the hungering blade perk to kick in, but the blade dancer super also helps that, so if you don't think you'll make it to the person with chalice or you're playing on CE hard, just use it to kill a thrall or two, spawn some orbs for the sword bearer if you're not running it, and you'll be fine. It should be noted that you should also be able to balance agility and recovery in both subclasses for the hunter so that you'll not only be able yo get into and out of any given situation without dying, but you'll also be able to recover when you get out of a dangerous situation. Have at it, bruh.

I'm a Warlock and I don't regen health through the entire hard raid, I have the helmet but don't use it, I haven't died a single time unless I wanted to so I can self revive with full health :)

Red death. When I hide in ogre room between crorations I just kill one thrall if needed and that's it.

Mask of the third man exotic will allow you to regenerate health by picking up an orb... or you can get lucky and it will be a perk on your raid helmet... Its on my hunter and just last night i got it for both my titan and warlock so i just have to level them up again and then i wont have to worry about switching gear for the crota fight.
