Secret strike update coming...
If you have read last Thursay's weekly update, DeeJ hinted at an update to the strikes that will be coming in this next update (toward end of update information post). It was very mysterious, and he didn't give details.
I am assuming it is something good/positive, given the minimal info that was provided.
What do you think it might be?

1 Respuestaone question. when did "secret" and "written directly into the update" begin meaning the same thing. it is more than likely such a minuscule change that it wasn't worth mentioning. if they were giving the player base a reason to be excited, it would not have been so obscure, especially with the amount of people crying over nothing to do. be realistic.

Most likley making exotic and legendary drop rates go way down because too many people get them

In the Cerberus Vae III strike, two Rockets McDickfaces will appear instead of one. We do this because the community loves him so much, they gave him a nickname. We understand that No Land Beyond is a terribly designed exotic. Therefore, we will award it for every strike you complete. However, No Land Beyonds earned this way will not drop shards or glimmer for dismantling them. The line spoken by the Ghost when you find the Archon priest's cell will have its volume further increased by 450% We do this to ensure that you know that you have found the cell. The line "We've woken the Hive!" will have its volume increased by 300%. This is to let players know the error of their ways when they wake the Hive when they weren't supposed to.

My guess on what the change to strikes might be: 1) New strike playlist -modifiers other than heroic. Angry, lightswitch, void burn, etc. -higher level than current max -additional rewards, perhaps mats as a guaranteed reward. -changes to the rng loot table. I'm hoping radiants will be added (I doubt that would happen, though). -Voting on stikes, COD style. 2) Nightfall strike -increased in level -improved chance at exotics -reduced chance at mats/strange coins

11 Respuestas- No cheese spots, safe spots, "sniper's perches" etc. so that soloing 3 player strikes will be somewhat harder (and probably impossible for nightfalls) - Matchmaking for nightfalls,weekly heroics and raids. Before you object to this, just know that you don't have to use it if you don't like. You can just play with your friends as always. - Random legendary weapons / motes of light / strange coins (ofc Xur should sell heavy ammo for this to be viable) instead of shards

What Deej meant is that next Thursday (this week) when he gives us the weekly news updates, he will tell us what's new for strikes. He didn't mean that there would be a update tomorrow for strikes. In any case it'll be next week's Tuesday that we get the update for strikes. Next time read more careful to pay attention to the meaning of things.
