What’s the most underrated game you’ve played?
The title says it all! What was a game you e played that you feel is criminally underrated? I’d say Kingdoms of Amalur is topping my list. What about yours?
Edit: Seeing Titanfall 2 on here quite a bit, and I definitely agree with all of you. Everything about that game is fantastic. It’s dirt cheap for a digital copy, so get the word out about that game. It should be revived ASAP!

1 ReplySurprised no one mentioned Little Kings Story for the Wii. Amazing game that strongly reminds me of Picman and has an amazing story. When I found out that they ported the game onto Steam, I nearly fainted. I seriously recommend anyone watching this comment to play.

Y’all are gonna hate me but it’s a mobile game Shadowgun Legends. It’s the only mobile game I’ve played that’s actually decent. Plays like Destiny 1 with some Borderlands-style humor tossed in. Controls aren’t wonky so that’s nice. And it’s free. Only problem is micro transactions but it’s not for anything important.

3 RepliesGun - it was a proto RDR. Rockstar borrowed heavily from it. Elite Dangerous - the only game to have boggled my mind to the point I felt it go "nope" and stop trying to comprehend what I was looking at. What Frontier achieved with that game is truly staggering.

Mostly melee and platforming. It’s just a really cool story and environment, and the ending is great. I also think Mass Effect: Andromeda got mostly unwarranted flak. It’s not amazing and I like the original trilogy more, obviously, but I still really enjoyed it. Enough to play it twice in a row at launch.

3 RepliesI have a couple. 1. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time. Even though it was sold as a kid's game, this effort had a convoluted plot with some truly unexpected twists, and delved into some deep themes: time paradoxes, suicide missions, heroism, sacrifice, and the amazing power of love and devotion. 2. Bully. My favorite guilty pleasure game. Though you could be a hateful and abusive character, you could also play as someone out to liberate your school from abusing cliques and corrupt prefects.

I am really hoping for a sequel or for capcom to localize the online version of the game. It's been out in Japan for years already. Also, Dungeons 2. I'd never even heard of this game before I bought it. PSN had it on sale for a great price and I was looking for something different to play. Great little game. Unlocked the platinum trophy. 2 RepliesDivinity: Original Sin 2. I don’t know if you would call it underrated because it gets rave reviews. But it’s a game you don’t see many people talking about. I get the impression not many people play it. I guess because it’s an old school top down RPG with turn based combat it gets overlooked. But it’s an amazing game.

White Knight Chronicles (2) was an amazing game that seemingly no one knows about. Megaman Battle Network series. It was reviewed pretty highly (about 8.5/10 down to 6.9 by the end of the series), but I rarely meet people who have even heard of it.

1 ReplyPS3 days , Resistance was great ... I don’t think it was underrated I’m not sure on that but wish it was a remake. Could do with better weapon load outs but it was a great game , great Alien theme to it also.
