Best thing revealed in the new reef reveal? In the ToO reveal? NEW Q
There was a lot added, like the upgrade of weapons to 365, material exchange, new models for vendor gear, and the reef itself. What are you looking forward to?

The fact that I can buy Motes for 500 glimmer apiece (price of 2 ascendant shards) and reroll any legendary weapon I want is just....it's so... ermagherd.

I, too, am very excited for our friend Variks the Loyal. Both for him as a character and for the items he sells (especially the ships and shaders). Heck, I'm excited for all the new ships and shaders.

1 ReplyReforge Vendor Weapons. Vendors became worthless after you'd picked their best offerings because their stock never changed. This meant you either maxed your marks and ignored them or spent them on materials. I used to buy weapons, experience them and dismantle them. That was what Destiny became to me for a while. I stopped doing that because it was pointless but now I'll have something to spend my marks on again. Gone are the days of praying for a good roll from a Nightfall or a Rank Up package. You'll be able to buy the weapon you want and then pay for the roll you're after. What I will say is they look to have added some new perks which makes me think they've either removed some of the sought after perks or they added more to make getting the perfect roll an even more expensive and frustrating experience. Either way this feature wins it for me. It was a good reveal and there is still more to come.

I heard bungie talking about how they are changing up how they give the story to us in the game. It's not only with the cards in the app, they are taking a different path with the HoW and I'm curious to see how that turns out. I just hope it's not as repetitive. I don't mind them taking a while on the new raid. I think they want to make it different from Croat and Atheon. I just hope people who bought the DLC for this get the raid for free because they did kinda advertise there would be a raid in each DLC.

I like the upgrades / materials exchange. And not having to do 4 damage upgrades in a row, and have pre-maxed damage on purchase.
