Rampage needs a buff

Rampage is much more work to keep active for a damage buff that is eclipsed by many other similar perks. It requires constant kills to feed the perk with no way to instantly activate it at full power. I can't remember the last time I was excited to get a weapon with rampage as a perk. Please return rampage to it's original potency. (Like on huckleberry) It needs that to compete with perks like incandescent that are better AND allow subclass synergy. Multikillclip also needs a bit of work as well. kills should refresh it at the current level (or higher) rather than bringing you from 3 stacks to 1. Damage buff profile should be 22/44/66% buff

  • Duration buff would make it better maybe to 7 seconds to make it end game under level viable

  • Rampage is irrelevant and, at least in my eyes, is no longer a desirable perk. I’d say remove it from the perk pools and replace it with another status effect perk…

    Tbh none of the damage perks that require kills to activate aren’t that great in higher levelled content. Frenzy, one for all, explosive/timed payload and all the elemental specific perks are better

  • Rampage is short because it’s one of the strongest damage buffs in the game that can be triggered instantly. It does exactly what it’s meant to do so not sure what you’re crying about.

    • 66? Are you insane? Bait and switch is 30. Surrounded is 35. If you made rampage 66, that would break the game. Infinite uptime in ad dense areas during boss dps with 5 hammerheads and a div?

      • People keep saying rampage is bad, but it is really not. 33% is quite a lot. Only one for all is better. Firefly rampage midnight c usually proccs x3 with a single shot. It's not as good as one for all, but still very good.

        • That’s a bit much tbh. 66% for getting 3 kills with a damage ramp is crazy when Golden Tricorn caps out at 50% and requires 1 kill, a matching subclass ability kill, and is non-refreshable. I think that just buffing the duration to 7 seconds to match golden Tricorn would go a long way for Rampage. Desperate measures is already considered a good perk. It has slightly less max damage, 3 damage tiers with their own requirements, and a refreshable timer with only a single kill. The differences: - Desperate Measures requires ability kills to get going, but allows you to maintain stacks with them too. - Desperate Measures has a 7 second duration compared to Rampage’s 5.5. —— MKC just has an issue with usability. It’s not fun to dump your ammo and need to reload, forcing yourself down to a lower buff level. MKC would be top-tier if the buff would stay at the highest tier you activated until it either runs out or you activate it again. At MKC x2 you’re already out-damaging the already beloved Desperate measures. —— Tbh, I think people just convinced themselves these perks are garbage. While they’re not my personal favorites, they’re not bad.

        • Rampage is a low level PVE perk. They have buffed rampage through other perks. Desperate measures, sword logic, golden tricorn. Personally I still don't run these perks because I hate the desperate need to chain kills. Gets me killed more often.

        • Tbh rampage is pretty good in most non super highlevel pve stuff. Multikill clip does need some help though. I would also like to see one for all be refreshable but that’s just me

          • Timer needs extending back to how it used to be it's a pointless perk atm mainly because the time rampage stays active is way too low but at the same time hc was pretty oppressive in pvp when rampage lasted longer so it's an iffy one if to buff or leave as is . Personally I'd rather have onslaught have a buff in timer duration or be permanent until death since onslaught is only on autos atm i think . Cascade point timer needs to last longer aswel

          • My problem with Rampage is that Tricorn (and now Desperate Measures) exists. Even with Swash/Junkie it was being crept on but Tricorn/DM essentially eclipse it for the small cost of getting an ability kill, something you'll be getting constantly in PvE anyway.
