Dead orbit or New monarchy?
im a lv29 hunter and I want to start leveling up a faction. I really like dead orbit and new monarchy's shaders and dead orbits hand cannon looks decent. Im not very interested in FWC.

New monarchy for one simple reason The Visible Hand ship. Check it out I have it equipped. Got it at level 25 but haven't received a single shader but I'm happy with ship as I haven't seen anyone else with it on this forum and in game. Has any other fellow guardians got this ship

Edited by jay p: 1/23/2015 9:54:01 PMNM has the superior auto-rifle and hand cannon and scout rifle. Dead orbit has the better heavy machine gun and shaders. All the gear/weapons are pretty replaceable, or you are relying on rank up packages in the hopes of getting the right item and then getting good perks for it. So go Dead Orbit for the shaders, though NM has some nice shaders also. But you should definitely rank NM up to rank 3 and get a vanquisher 8 for each new xpack if you like auto-rifles at all. Or level up FWC to rank 3 for the hand cannon every new xpack.

7 RepliesDepends on your race, if you want to get your hands on the faction shaders or ship/ships. Human = New Monarchy Awoken = Dead Orbit.

I use Dead orbit mostly because I like their colour schemes. I want the shaders and stuff as well of course, but I personally think that their cloaks are the best looking out of the factions.

New monarchy have best weapons by far tbh. Red hand, Vanquisher and if your lucky the sniper rifle as its void
