THIRD SUBCLASS IDEAS!

Leave yours here too! DISCLAIMER: THIRD SUBCLASSES HAVE BEEN REBUKED BY BUNGIE:

“I can’t say anything about new subclasses,” Green says. “The reason why there’s that third subclass slot there, is that some people may recall that we used to have a mechanism for sealing a build and locking your choices in, which would give your build a boost. The game would let you make another copy of that build. That’s what the slot is there for. When you needed to make a copy of your arc titan build because you just locked the other one, we had to make room for that. So that’s why the third slot is there. It shouldn’t be read as a tacit promise, but the fact that subclasses are swappable should make players excited about the future.”

Anyways: Titan: Firestarter (Solar Sword) SUPER: Wrath of Atlas "By the single order of fire." THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! EDIT 2: The One about Thunderclap Tweaked Warlock a bit. EDIT 3: The One About the Leak I know the subclasses were "leaked". Refrain from posting comments pertaining to that. The community can still have ideas. EDIT 4: The One About Highest Rated WE REACHED HIGHEST RATED! KEEP BUMPING EVERYONE! EDIT 5: The One About Ahamkara Hunt Tweaked Ahamkara Hunt a bit to make it less OP. EDIT 6: The One About Flame Catalyst Fixed misconception about Flame Catalyst; it's supposed to be a throwing knife for Titans. EDIT 7: The One About Copy-Pasting Since many have hated on these ideas for being "unoriginal" and "copy-pasty", I'll try to make an alternative three that will be entirely original and balanced. I'm also in the mood for it too. It's the holidays, anyway. EDIT 8: The Other One About Flame Catalyst Fixed description of Flame Catalyst to make its manner of killing clearer. EDIT 9: The One About Christmas Merry Christmas to all! Even the haters.

Titan Solar Sub-Class: Star-born The greatest of lights reside in you Grenades: Pyro-lance- this will cause a moderate explosion on whatever you're pointing at, at the time you activate it. Nova Grenade- you will throw a miniature nova in a capsule that creates a small star when it detonates. It causes low detonation damage and the star will stay alive causing low damage for a couple of seconds until collapsing on itself which will will cause moderate damage. Engulf- A variant of the pyro-lance that instead of causing a concentrated explosion it creates a ring of fire similar to the ones that the Watchers of Crota make except it will cause a high damage explosion in that one spot and then disappear. Jump Ability- Lift -Greater height -Better control -Phoenix (Titan version of blink) Stolen from OP Super charge- Sun Berserker You abandon your weapons for a different move set. RB- A punch that has knock back and that causes low lingering damage LB- A stomp that creates flames that engulf your immediate area RT- you spew flames from your hand that causes moderate damage and low lingering damage LT- you make fire travel in front of you on the ground (very similar to the shock waves from the Striker and Blade Dancer sub-classes) Super charge mods -Wrath of the Sun You cause more damage at the expense of Sun Berserker's duration -Torch All of your attacks cause lingering moderate damage -Weapons of the Sun Instead of discarding your weapons you keep them for increased damage and an added solar modifier that causes foes lingering damage. Melee attack- Fire starter This causes the enemy you hit to have low lingering damage Melee Mods- -Burner Fire starter causes more damage -Spreader All enemies that come into contact with the burning foe also burn -Fire leech As your enemy burns you gain the health they lose Attribute mods- Default Misc mods- -Radius increase All abilities gain a radius increase -Familiarity Any weapon with solar damage will have greatly increased weapon handling -Phoenix shield People you revive and the people that revive you have a stronger and longer lasting over shield -Conserve You can stop Sun Berserker at any time by pressing LB + RB and save some remaining super charge energy (this will have a cost, with decreasing cost the further you use Sunberserker) -Phoenix dash After running for a short while you can use Phoenix for short lateral distances by pressing either B or RB -Super Nova When you die you explode causing extremely high damage in a small radius around you What do you guys think? Edit: Edits done for clarity to the perks

Warlock Arc Focus: ChargeSeeker The light flows through guardians who have stared down the Darkness without a flinch. Super: Surge Barricade You summon a matter defined charge in your left hand. L1/LB brings up a flat one-way shield. R1/RB does a regular melee (no extra damage or speed). R2/RT drops the shield, leaving it active wherever you drop it for the rest of your super; it can no longer be moved or picked up. Super Upgrades: Fortress - Increases width/height of Surge Barricade. Ballistic - Buffs the damage of shots fired through Surge Barricade. Retaliation - Surge Barricade reflects all damage. Jump: Glide Focused Control - Upgrade for directional control mid-air. Focused Burst - Upgrade for and initial burst of speed. Shift - Levitate any direction, crouching for a descending motion. Melee: Chain Link Unleash a bolt of energy that can arc across opponents. (Note: Chain Link can be wasted like a throwing knife if no targets are acquired.) Melee Upgrades: Sorcerer - Chain Link arcs faster and to more targets. Closed Circuit - Chain Link returns to you to initiate health regeneration for each target hit. Charged Mark - Chain Link marks the initial target and activates the arc twice, dealing damage only to the arced targets. Sixth Column Upgrades: Discharge - Chain Link staggers opponents. Illuminated - Dropping Surge Barricade generates orbs. Stretch - Increases the range of Chain Link. Grenades: Linking Grenade - Throw a grenade that links to targets that enter its aftermath. Timebolt Grenade - Throw a grenade that targets up to three opponents and latches on to them, pulling them towards the center where a vertical slam explosion occurs. (think of the hobgoblin grenade) Burst Grenade - Throw a large radius grenade that deals minimal damage, but aggressively launches targets out of its radius. Eighth Column Upgrades: Powerhouse - Surge Barricade grants you and nearby allies a small over-shield. Weakest Link - Killing an enemy with a Chain Link arc grants bonus damage to all abilities. Magician - Increases the radius/range of all grenades.

              • Warlock Arc Shield Grenade All allies caught within the grenade's area of effect receive an Arc Shield for 10 seconds. I'd like to see thing lean more toward a traditional MMO; tank, dps, and heals. Maybe Bungie will step more toward that with Comet's release.

One thing people need to remember when creating new subclasses is balance... Most ideas would break the game in so many ways. Also no Titan should have a throwing knife or a blink like ability. Edit: If everyone wants the classes in this game to be unique then why do people feel the need to give each class all the same abilities and perks?
