What's with all the new Auto Rifles on the tower being high rate of fire/low impact? The crucible quarter master is selling basically the same gun twice, only with different perks. The new DLC Auto Rifle that you can pick up from the Blade of Crota dudes is also high rate of fire/low impact. I prefer moderate rate of fire/impact Auto Rifles like the Shadow Price or the Vanquisher. I can just buy the Vanquisher again at the higher attack rating, but it would be nice to have something new. Anyone found anything in their travels? Also would be interested in a full-auto Scout Rifle.

Yep, they're all pea shooters now like Atheon's Epilogue.

Honestly, I think its their way of nerfing without telling us. I mentioned this to my friend. Its the only thing that makes sense.

I bought "up for anything" day 1 DLC. It is way better than the Dr. Nope reskins but is still pretty lacking overall. Nothing will compare to my VoC. #VoC331allday

Edited by friedricetheman: 12/21/2014 7:01:47 AMI have a pretty good roll on my Do Gooder V. It is as good as a Suros Regime. Check it out on my Titan. The only drawback is its range. Otherwise it hits very hard and fast.

I love the vision of confluence. It is like a slow but precise machine gun

I love my Vision of Confluence. Anything that fits that?

A full auto Scout Rifle already exist, but I agree with your statement.

I just replied to another post and it said the same thing. I trashed my vanquisher and use a blue level Galahad now. It has fitted stick and stability so can hold it's own. Grim citizen was go to before that though.

Made a thread a few days back basically noting the same as you. I got the "for the people" and didn't like it for pvp. Spent a few games with it and as soon as I got a bit more stiff competition I was back using my Vanq. Besides that one, I also got a few drops blue and legendary and they are *all* high rof. The push for that type of rifle is so obvious I've stopped hoping something different will show up, so I've made up my mind to buy the new Vanq. 2.0 so I can get one with a good attack for pve and IB. For normal crucible, I'll stick with the Vanq. 1.0 I got which packs the same impact as the suros plus an almost maxed out stability.

the for the people auto rifle has perfect stability it is a headshot machine in relative close quarters for some instances like in pve being overrun by thralls way better then the shadow price type they just serve different purposes. the reason we are being flooded with them is that the only legendary or higher auto in the base game with medium rate of fire and impact was the play station exclusive monte carlo so we have an influx of that type with this dlc to make up for the absence of them in the original release they will go back to bringing out the low rate of fire high impact autos and the other auto rifle variations with the next dlc release. it was a mistake by bungie but not the mistake everyone seems to believe that it is. this isnt supposed force you too use that type its just introducing the hushwind style autos back in the game because they were left out at release.

Suros still the best
-
Try the new crucible scout rifle "Saterienne rapier." I agree with you, and I even made another post about the low impact higher fire rate push.
-
Go to destinygamewiki and you can size up your options and learn how damage works, but there are very few guns out there like u describe. I recommend some of the newer blue crucible reward drops, they are very good and have almost 300 damage but the impact is great, they can even run toe to toe with suros regime if you get the right one
-
I think that is what they wanted the AR to be anyway. They should add a new BAR (battle assault rifle) with low rate of fire/stability and high impact.

Edited by LONE RONIN2012: 12/21/2014 8:45:06 AMNah, the new ones don't bother me. PvE I normally used Shadow Price or Grim Citizen, if I used an AR, but the rare times I played PvP I would use a Shingen or Hushwind so can still make the one ones work in PvE.

VoC is a auto scout rifle but it's stuck at 300 damage. I got silimars wrath from IB and it's pretty good
-
I wouldn't mind those guns if the stability wasn't shit.

Auto rifle are supposed to have fast rate fire and low impact. There damage is multiply by the speed not like Scot thay focus more on damage and accurcy then speed. Put more impact on auto and it be over power. Example:Impect x speed Scout:100x1=100 Auto:1x100=100 What you want Auto 2x100=200 That was an example not true impact and speed result.I chosen 100 to represent default weapon class purpose and 1 weapon class weak purpose.

The shadow price isn't around anymore...the new vanguard auto rifles are poop now too. I wish they would just bump the stats of the old legendary weapons like they did with the vex mythoclast in a patch. I don't care for any of the new guns now. :-/
