Ok guys, so I'm sure many of you know about the latest way to cheese crota. Where the fireteam leader leaves at just the right moment and crota stays down in cock sucking position while a guardian flogs him with his sword. While many of you are annoyed that noobish people will be getting gear they haven't really earnt and the value of having them will decrease, I would like to point out an interesting fact. With previous cheeses players were manipulating the games mechanics and this is technically within bungies guidelines... But when you get the fireteam leader to leave this falls into a whole other category. "Modification or interruption of Destiny network traffic with intent to disrupt other players’ experiences or to gain advantage in the game"- To be exact. Which is against bungies policy and is a bannable offence. So my question is. For all the current people who have used said exploit to best crota, should they be banned? In my opinion they should be. Edit: There seems to be confusion how this is different to other cheeses and how this is an interruption of Destiny traffic. With aetheon and templar, throwing grenades at them would exploit their Ai and make them "retreat" thus making them fall of the edge. This can be achieved through normal means of gameplay. Now with the crota exploit when the leader quits destiny they are disconnected from destiny's servers unexpectedly. This in my opinion is equivalent to using a lag switch. Now for some reason when a leader leaves and the game assigns a new leader, if done at the right time will cause the status of Crota's to be forever crouched. This can not be achieved though normal means of gameplay. Due to the disruption to the network traffic caused by the leader which has lead to crota crouching this has created an advantage.

People are bringing up the argument that we shouldn't care what other people get because it doesn't effect you personally. This is a response I've written a hundered times, so I'll just repost one of the replies I wrote: People care because you'll have to play with these people that got gear not on their ability, but through cheating. So in the future, when you're trying to scramble a team together from the forums or LFG, you have a good chance of getting these people in your fireteam, and all they'll do is press the matter that you need to cheese it to get through, and be utterly useless otherwise. Case and Point? VoG after they fixed the glitching. Maybe you have a raid team and they are dedicated, but that makes you a minority if anything.
