People are bringing up the argument that we shouldn't care what other people get because it doesn't effect you personally. This is a response I've written a hundered times, so I'll just repost one of the replies I wrote:
People care because you'll have to play with these people that got gear not on their ability, but through cheating. So in the future, when you're trying to scramble a team together from the forums or LFG, you have a good chance of getting these people in your fireteam, and all they'll do is press the matter that you need to cheese it to get through, and be utterly useless otherwise.
Case and Point? VoG after they fixed the glitching.
Maybe you have a raid team and they are dedicated, but that makes you a minority if anything.

Wait....they fixed the vog glitches!? No more unlimited health preatorian or gate glitches?????
-
They fixed the glitches that people manipulated. Not sure if they fixed those. That would be nice.
-
I know, and they probably won't. Those glitches are what makes the hard vog actually hard lol
-
Basically they fixed the glitches that benefitted the players, but none of the ones that hurt the players.

I have a hard time believing that every singe issue that benefits players is "easy to fix" and the ones that don't are "hard to fix."
-
Well you've gotta prioritize sometimes.
-
Which brings me back to my original point. They fix all the glitches that benefit us and hold off on anything that hurts us.
-
But you shouldn't be benefiting from it. That's more important than fixing a glitch that doesn't happen constantly.
