Snipers are ruining the game
Legendary snipers are becoming overpowered. I personally have stopped using them because it is too easy to get one shot kills. For instance when playing in first light, 9/10 times I die it's praedyths revenge or ice breaker. This is so annoying and boring to see the same thing over and over. Snipers are supposed to be wielded with skill NOT ease by noobs

Just learn how to hunt, maneuver and conceal. Many people are great at this also.

yup been saying that for every game for years. People enjoy sitting in one spot and picking off people because it is so simple. was like that in Halo games, black ops games, now this game. I guess they have to provide that for people that cannot get a kill otherwise? not sure. not fun to just sit in one place though, imo. I've tried it and get too impatient. not only that but you literally have to hit a person one time to kill them.... very very lame and nooby.

2 Repliessomething clicked in the last iron banner event and i have been using my patience and time as my primary ever since - ranked the OB out with it... now i have more sniper kills than auto rifles at 1500 something and plan on keeping it that way - nothing like taking out a whole team at zone C on shores of time. :-P

14 RepliesI agree dude those sniper rifles are way op omg, if you got head shots from a legendary sniper you shouldn't die or explode from that. It should just fill your special right away. That way you can maneuver yourself and each time you get hit, your armour begins to turn into a legentotic. The legentotic armors are guardian, fallen, hive, and vex armors combined. It's not all about pvp. Please think about that because I mainly play pve and if guns get nerfed for crucible they get nerfed for everything.

Nothing in this game needs to be nerfed. You just need a buff...get better and stop crying. You and every child who cries for a nerf. have a nice day :)

There are like.....2 good snipers in the entire game and only 3 real sniping maps. You are nonsense. Also just a personal view in terms of legendary snipers I think the standard FINAL Boss is the best (even if stuck at 300 base power) because the perks (balance when crouch; precision explosion kills). However, this is all to say that I wouldn't buy any sniper the vendors sell and would help should I rng a sniper from raids/strikes/pvp that it would have at least the "explosive" perk. But this is just me....I reroll a sniper for this lol

I think they should nerf all weapons so that no one gets a kill at all. Then everyone in PvP can run around with lollipops looking for friends. In a perfect world that's what I would have. Then everyone can be winners. Bungie, why this insistent need to have a winning team in PvP!?! Why does competition have to run everything? Don't you care about us gamers?

Words will never describe the joy and excitement I feel when I get to duel another sniper. Doesn't happen often. Maybe if you want to have a chance, you should also use an "OP sniper rifle."
