For those of you who have completed Vault of Glass on Hard Mode BEFORE completing Normal Mode, did you or did you not receive double loot drops? Share your experiences!
I, personally, did receive 2x drops from Hard Mode. Atheon dropped:
-Mythoclast
-Epilogue
-Timebreaker
-Raid Helmet
Edit 1: In the first 30 minutes we received 100 votes exactly and 87% of them said that YES they did receive double rewards from completing VoG Hard Mode before VoG Normal Mode. Thanks, so much, everyone for your input!
Edit 2: After 6 hours and 400 votes 82% said that YES they did receive double rewards from completing VoG Hard Mode before VoG Normal Mode. Again, thanks everyone for contributing!
Edit 3: Now after 800 votes more than 85% said YES they got double rewards from completing VoG Hard Mode before VoG Normal Mode. (other than 1-3 chests that can only award rewards once which, at least, includes chest #1)
Edit 4: Over 1,000 votes! 86% say "YES"! Do you need any more evidence than that??
Edit 5: Over 1200 votes. 86% say "YES"! 14% say "What even is a Vault of Glass?"

Edited by ZanzaJoe: 11/16/2014 7:50:05 PMYou get the rewards for both modes, not double hard mode. Think of it this way. When you go into normal a loot table is generated. When you defeat an event a dice is rolled to see what item you get. Same things happen on hard, only there are added items available to hard only. So when you do hard mode without doing normal you roll one dice for each table. I actually got the glass minuet and aspect of glass on the same Atheon kill. I died a little inside.
You can get double hard mode rewards. Your explanation was a bit off. What happens is the hard mode loot is added, and then you roll 2x from the same loot table. Not once each.
I can see it actually being this, I wonder if it was intended though. The benefit to running hard without doing normal could be unintended.
