If you are in a fire team or strike skipping a cutscene would mess you up, so that's for the weekly strikes and such. Also they probably spent a lot of money for animation/voice actors for those so they don't want people skipping them. Also it tells you what you are doing and it isn't that long so can you guys please stop complaining about cutscenes.

You can't skip them all but when the count down starts to end mission, go to orbit. Skips any cut scene that would happen when the mission is over.

It's not like we're going to be missing the story. That's what the Grimoire cards are for! You can't see my right now, but I'm rolling my eyes.

completely disagree with all your points.

Well, to quote the quick and dirty SWTOR player type: "Spacebar, please!" In some cases only "Spacebar!" or "Skip!" Sometimes a little more unfriendly. I don't know why they didn't do it like that. If the whole team wants to skip, skip. If one doesn't want to, everybody has to watch. Maybe with a little message like "2/3 fireteam members want skip. For skipping, please press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, a, b.

Only reason: they want you to believe there's an actual narrative instead of a bunch of Skyrim-esque side quests.
If you are in a fire team or strike skipping a cutscene would mess you up, so that's for the weekly strikes and such.
Or they could have done it like similar games where either (a) everyone has to skip or (b) the leader controls the skipping. This also doesn't explain why you can't skip when alone.
Also they probably spent a lot of money for animation/voice actors for those so they don't want people skipping them.
How is this true for this game and not others? I'm sure that developers would prefer you to watch them, but most still give control to the player. This is really not a valid reason.
Also it tells you what you are doing and it isn't that long so can you guys please stop complaining about cutscenes.
This also applies to every other video game with cutscenes. It isn't a valid reason why you can't skip them, especially after you have seen them before. Sorry to say, but your logic is deeply flawed. You just sound like an apologist with posts like yours.
