Split screen is terrible
I don't know why people are complaining about the lack of split screen. The days of FPS split screen are coming to an end and for good reason. What you see (or can't see) impacts your game experience.
Split screen...
- cuts you viewable area in half (or fourths)
- distorts the screen ratio
- decreases screen resolution
- decreases frame rate
People should not be upset that their experience is being protected.

8 RepliesI don't see the point in arguing against having more options. If you don't want to use it, don't use it. But theres no reason that those who want it can't have it. Your experience will not be ruined by another player playing with a friend. It won't effect you in the slightest, unless you just so happen to join a fireteam with them. So I can't imagine why you would be against it. Its not like you're forced to use splitscreen. Its the player's decision, and if they want to play with a friend who comes over, then they should be allowed to.
