New subclasses
In the Destiny beta i noticed that there was an empty subclass spot for every class. Could this be new subclasses that will be revealed on September 9th? If so, what could they possibly be?
My guess is that the titan would have a solar ability since since it already has arc and void. The hunter would have a void ability since it already has solar and arc. The warlock would have an arc ability since it already has void and solar.

3 RepliesMy thoughts on third subclasses: Titan- Turn into a giant fireball that explodes after a few seconds. Hunter- Void cloak that makes self and nearby allies invisible. Warlock- Arc lightning strike on the nearest few enemies.

2 RepliesI think that third slot is for when we lock in a subclass. I don't remember exactly where but Bungie has said that when you lock in a subclass you get a boost to your stats and then a copy of that subclass will be created so you can continue to experiment with that subclass.

I feel like people do not listen to bungie, the third subclass is not for another class. It is simply a holding place for when you lock a class. The class you locked will go into that slot and you will be given the class again to level at a much faster tate. This will allow you to lock a class and still expiment with new builds for that class.

My idea of the warlocks 3rd: a medic/supportive focused class. Grenades that slow down and disrupt enemies, a melee built with perhaps the purpose of charging off enemy kills and then using on teamates to heal/buff them for a short time, and a super that generates some sort of healing/ supportive aura. Lets say, a field of lightning(arc arc light) that arcs between you and close teamates, and any enemy killed within said field recharges shields/abilities of those connected and heals those within. perhaps upgradeable to arc out and damage enemies itself, or to be more powerful when you have more guardians linked up.

The warlock [i]has [/i]to have Arc. It's the Traveler's light, so why would a scholar devoted to harnessing the Traveler's power be unable to use it? Makes no sense.

2 RepliesEach class will have one sub class per damage type. Do you really think Bungie would release the game with such a glaring omission. They have commented that they will implement restrictions i.e certain bosses will have higher arc resistance, so you will have to change subclass and find a non arc weapon in order to defeat that boss. They are not going to unbalance the game in such a dramatic way by omitting a damage type from each class.

8 Repliesim pretty sure there will be cause if you think about we have seen all of the titans subclasses, first is the striker, second is the defender, but that super man punch thing in the ign videos is more than just a melee attack that shiit looks deadly so I think that's going to be the titans 3rd subclass super

Titan was missing the solar Warlock was missing Arc Hunter was missing void

I believe each guardian has a support subclass and possibly 2 attack subclasses. With either solar void or arc elements. We know the warlock and titan support subclasses but the hunters has yet to be disclosed unless its bladedancer. Which I doubted. I didn't have a hunter character during the beta.

3 RepliesI've seen people say that the empty slot is just for the repeat you get when you lock in your subclass. I sure do hope there's 3 for each though. I totally want a flaming Titan fist of death.

they hinted at in one vid and or article i read that you might be able to find hidden subclasses in the game. and that there are more than jsut 2 also. Links I dont have, just have to ggogle and do the research.
