I'm really looking forward to destiny. I love how they're fixing the problems that halo had, although I still feel like nothing can beat halo, but this should be pretty close, I watched the 1 hour long conference thing, and this game looks amazing

I am and always will be a sony fan. But i ll never forget the first time that i played halo on my xbox. It was mind blowing!! So thank you Bungie and Microsoft, for making such great games!! It's like one other person said. Playstation or Xbox, we are all one community! Greetings from Belgium. And keep up the great work Bungie!

4 RepliesAs an Xbox fan to other Xbox fans... stop complaining, it makes you and me look bad. thank you. And as a Bungie fan to Bungie fans... The Sony E3 Destiny conference is completely reasonable in every way, they are not abandoning their fans as some of you may think, they are just sharing an equal amount of their love to another community. And both consoles have pretty much the exact same gaming capabilities, so playing Destiny will be great on either one. Now it just depends on what social community you want to be a part of. But in the end.. We are all still part of one community, the Bungie community.

And people stop this stupid console war and this crap about Bungie forgetting the other side. Either you play an xbox or you play a sony playstation thats all no big deal or reason to be dividing this great game and hard work over crappy, petty, nonsense, stupid talk. You all sound like a bounce of 10yr old kids! I sure hope you all aren't by the way, because the game is rated mature 17+ and hope it stays that way. Next to come will be the halo vs Destiny rant God, I can see already! None creative minds just watching blindly and talking before the words even pass through their brains they talk about things just to finds shit to say. Nice work Bungie and thank you for such an amazing CG movie trailer. I follow you guys very closely and this trailer is on time in right order. Reminds me of pass work releases while following them closely as well. I want to also thank you Bungie for taking on this task once again creating something so amazing that out of the box and beyond the normal everyday games and developers out there. Far too long have I wished for an action shooter game which allows me freedom to move around unscripted, go where I want in my environment, search and find hidden treasures while looking over my shoulder not to mention the weapons not limited to or just a few types while looking like everyone else in the game. It's like I emptied my mind with you in the process of this game development lol. I Thanks you all and the team at Bungie, see you guys at E3.

My only minor gripes are how (trying to pick my words carefully here) careless or "bad ass" the guardians were. It might just be me but I would of liked some use of cover. Some kind of tense firefight where they actually were being shot back at. But instead it was a steamroll (Dat Pistol). Lol. But "i aint even mad." It was a good trailer and, like everyone else, can't wait for E3.

4 RepliesBungie is not betraying anyone, neither are they showing a bias for Sony. They are making a business move. Since the Halo series has not and will not come to the PlayStation they basically have to create a brand name on a new system. Lets face it most people who buy Sony systems exclusively have developed a distaste for anything Halo simply because it was an Xbox exclusive and they always heard something like "well the PS2/PS3 doesnt have Halo". Bungie has to sell their product to these people because they are a business and want to get as much of the share of the FPS game market as possible. This is the big reason behind Destiny's seeming love for PS4 so far. Speaking in generalities I will say that anyone who has owned an Xbox, which means they owned at least one halo, already knows the potential of this game and is excited. Bungie does not have to push this product on them, but they must try and win favor of the Sony fan boys who have done nothing but hate on anything Xbox. If you are a seemingly butt hurt Xbox fan calm down Sony has had more time to show off its system and its games, so will be able to give more time to Bungie for their presentation. On top of that Microsoft will want to show off console exclusive games. If you are a Sony fan boy and feel like the game will be superior on your system because of exclusive content, than you are also deluded. The game will be the same for both consoles and an undisclosed exclusive content could be, and probably will be insignificant. However it did its job because as I stated before this is not bungie declaring allegiance to the PS4 it is them trying to sell a product to a new market, nothing more nothing less.

Edit: I feel obligated both morally and publicly to apologize for what I posted yesterday. There is no excuse for the vulgar statements I made directed toward Bungie and I am sorry. The bungie.net community is one I've been apart of for 7 years (officially 5), a third of my life. This is not a justification nor excuse, but a representation of just how much Bungie means to me and how big of a role they, their community, and their games have played in my life. With that being said, I shall leave the original comments unedited and disengage from any further conversation in this thread to prevent further derailing of any worthwhile discussion.

First and foremost, I just wanted to say that I think it's ridiculous that this video sparked a console war. It doesn't really matter if Bungie chooses the PlayStation to showcase Destiny on. Like other plenty of other people have said, Xbox already has a lot of their prime-time slots filled with other games. It's not really in Bungie's best interest to give their product "secondary" airtime. Secondly, maybe Bungie [i]is[/i] irritated with Xbox. No, I don't mean their precious Xbox-based fans; I'm speaking of the company. They forced Bungie to either leave or sellout. Obviously they took the high-ground, but the fact of the matter is that Microsoft began to milk a series that they had created. Any bad-blood in their relationship is purely the result of Microsoft's greed. As for the actual video, I thought it was done very nicely. I don't have any qualms as of late. The game looks better than most. Side note, related to first two paragraphs: I prefer Xbox in just about every aspect, but it scares me to think that they're pushing activation codes for each game purchased. If Microsoft goes through with this, but Sony doesn't, I might actually buy a PS4. I won't succumb to greed (on the highest of levels), nor will I purchase a game that has less value than a new copy, but is priced the same.
