New smg is overly oppressive.
It’s so f’ing oppressive you can’t even compete against it. I’m farming on my 7 win flawless card to try and get a good roll but omg I hope it gets nerfed very, very soon. Whether I get a god roll or not it needs to be dealt with quickly. They’re addressing Ikelos and the immortal is way, way better so I’m hoping it gets nerfed soon.

1 ReplyIt`s at the point now in Iron banner that large amounts of players are using the god roll of this SMG and if you don`t have it you're at a major disadvantage. To the point where you cannot be competitive. I`ll give this iron banner a pass. In fact I think it`s time to give this whole game a pass for a while.

15 RepliesThe trick is to not bother getting it since it's only good in pvp and pvp is trash. Just enjoy other things in your life. Why play garbage Trials for a weapon that's only good inside an awful game mode that isn't worth playing to begin with?

The only overly opressive weapons in pvp are fusion rifles. Every type, all of them.

I guess it's fusion time again if this becomes the new "thing". I don't even have Lightfall and havent played trials in years. Yet in qp games today everyone and their mother had this new adept smg paired with snipers and never miss a shot. And here I thought to play a little for fun, give The Long Arm a try as I just got that gun. Quickplay really sucks :D Well at least the name is correct. It's quick. Even quicker if you go back to orbit :D

6 RepliesGive it 1-3 months. Bungie only nerfs things based on usage statistics, not whether they’re inherently broken or not. With people spamming this 0.6 second TTK smg, it’ll get nerfed quick. Trashcans on this game love to use the most broken thing available because they suck at the game.

Im seeing people say with target lock the ttk is sub 0.5 seconds. Don't worry they are tuning 750rpm mid season.

Then give it to a 750 RPM SMG with an already forgiving ttk Then give it the most range that any other 750 can get Put rangefinder on it And give it a trait that gives it almost no recoil And you've basically one-upped Tarrabah without taking up an exotic slot. Edit: Since apparently some people either don't have a scroll wheel or are lacking a thumb (more likely) to scroll mobilly, I think both TL and RF shoould be nerfed in pvp. Leave the gun itself alone. The gun is performing too well. This doens't mean it's oppressive, which was my point above. If you think a fake gun in a video game is oppressive, you don't know what oppression looks like. That's right. Suck on my virtue signal.

Last time a gun was this broken bungie sunset 8 seasons worth of content just to nerf it and 2 others. Give it 3 more weeks and SMGs will be nerfed to oblivion as per bungies usual reaction. See the current glaive nerf for proof. Introduce something broken so content creators have content, then once the masses get their hands on it and the content creators are no longer able to stomp lobbies for free content nerf it then release another broken weapon, rinse/wash/repeat. -

Only the best players could get the best weapons and those who had them dominated in PVP. People calling for nerfs were viewed as sissies. Wow, gamers have changed a lot over the years.

You think after 10 plus years bungie figure out how to balance a weapon. Or at the very least figure out how to not soul crushingly nerf items. My problem is not with nerfing, as most often needed but the way they nerf it to being unplayable.

Pvp is not fun atm, it's pure smg chaos and strand suspend is broken asfuk not only can you only hip fire, there's a delay, you get turned off center, and green stuff partially blinds you ffs.... I'm done with pvp for now.

They’ll hit target lock in 4 weeks and it will still be very good just not crazy.
