Last Wish mods deprecated?
Since the launch of Season of the Haunted, all of the raid specific mods for Last Wish have not been working inside the Last Wish raid, along with that, all of them received an ingame text under their descriptions stating that "This perk has been deprecated and no longer functions."
Is this something not intended? Some people have assumed so since it wasn't mentioned in any of the recent articles regarding the new season, would love to hear some type of clarification.

They also deprecated old mods for the original armor system. I used to have a lot of paragon and super mods that still worked and now they're listed as deprecated. -

Probably because all the normal armor drops now are high 40/low 50 stats. Been using more and more or my old armours. Just another way to nerf older stuff and make you grind again. Same with mods - stealth nerf I guess

1 ReplyI made a post about this myself, [url=https://i.ibb.co/V27Zr7V/Really.png]a LOT of my original Y1/Y2 armors with mods[/url] have been destroyed as well, ruining a bunch of my casual play loadouts for strikes, gambit, and Quickplay Crucible. This piece in particular had 40 Recovery on it, when the mod was working. Even the PERKS don't work now and are nulled out with a Destiny Logo. I don't remember ever reading anything about them planning on doing this, and it's really soured my mood on top of other things.

Hear me out Lately, Bungie has been making armor sets with intrinsic perks like the seasonal armor and weapons. It could be in preparation for similar raid sets. But then again, if that IS the case, they shouldn’t deprecate anything until the replacement arrives so i could be way off here. They really shouldn’t have sucker-punched everyone with this move Edit: They didn’t even mention it in the patch notes

32 RepliesThis is why I refrain from praising anything aside from the artwork and general gameplay. Never answer questions/surveys pertaining but not limited to: Best builds, armor, weapons, mods, etc The BAA’s constantly complain about ppl complaining on these forums and now you know why. Everything we praise and appreciate gets drug out the back and shot with the nerf cannon. So we don’t do it anymore. It’s self inflicted and the BAAs perpetuate the negativity more than anyone else but irony is completely lost on them

My guess is its a bug. They deprecated the old year 1 mods so might be the games confusing the newer versions of them with the old year 2 versions

3 RepliesHonestly, I'm only dropping you a line and a like because it is MANDATORILY, (the thing), a Bungie community manager should be doing with an official response to your well-written inquiry. Bungie cm's don't foster community as much as they cultivate the facade. Remember this the next time we get another cut n paste minimal skeletal crew phone-in effort. D2, right now- feels like bungie's secondary IP's must be coming in hot!

They probably already have written off last wish and plan on throwing it into their garbage DCV soon which is why they do stuff like this. Robbing more content from us that we literally paid for wooo.

Also consumable armor 1.0 mods were deprecated as well. RIP my stack of transcendent blessings

That makes no sense at all. The raid is still active so the mods need to be active. Period.
