Just had a thought that morphed into a theory. Hear me out
Lately, Bungie has been making armor sets with intrinsic perks like the seasonal armor and weapons.
It could be in preparation for similar raid sets. But then again, if that IS the case, they shouldn’t deprecate anything until the replacement arrives so i could be way off here.
They really shouldn’t have sucker-punched everyone with this move
Edit: They didn’t even mention it in the patch notes

yeah, was thinking that too. Although that mod was helpful when the Hawkmoon dungeon was happening a few seasons ago, since the enemies were Taken.
