(Day 4) PC move still broken after latest "fix".

Like all of the other people here having the problem i've linked, unlinked, cleared cache, performed ritual sacrifices etc. (don't judge me) and my information is [i]still [/i]intact and correct here on Bungie.net in my profile and account settings, but... when I start (i mean retry for the 900th time) the process over I'm greeted with that correct information: my (3) 750 guardians, all my content licenses and my silver and it all looks fine [i]until [/i]you hit continue/transfer buttons then, POOF, everything has vanished and i'm left only seeing the licenses for base D2/Osiris/Warmind. Can we please get some more detailed information on what is being done to fix the issue and when we can expect a fix.         I have had the same issue. I've tried all the stuff everyone else has with the same results. Its odd that there isnt a feature just to choose which profile you want to use, as I can see both my steam and blizz profile in my bungie profile overview, yet when I do the PCmove there is no option to choose, it just assumes I want to play the base game with no dlc and a new character... which seems odd. https://imgur.com/a/LKPINT0 https://imgur.com/iwumuok

      • they really bungied up their transfer to steam, lol Saddest part that I haven't played Destiny 2 practically since launch, when Bungie did have a lot of technical issues and zero support for their PC customers. Not much has changed in those two years.

        I'm also still experiencing the same problem. I've been trying and retrying the same steps over and over ad nauseam since the beginning of this week to no avail. Just want to throw a few interesting points up that I've noticed one my end. - Pointed out in my last comment a couple days ago, when I log into the Destiny Item Manager site it shows that all my loot and characters are intact, and everything has been bumped to 750. So my stuff is still floating around somewhere. Probably on some server that may as well have a sticky label on it titled, "Purgatory". - Logged into my phone to write this comment and got a message pop up that said my battle net profile has indeed been transferred over to steam. Although lastnight I unlinked my steam account in my settings out of some superstition fantasy that 'May if I leave it unlinked for a few hours, that'll fix the problem'. Also, the option to unlink battle net is greyed out (but I get the feeling I'm not only there). - I still dont know what happened to my Forsaken dlc. But like everyone else, Osiris and Warmind are just hunky dory. This for me is the most egregious part of all this. Steam refunded my Shadowkeep dlc, and I'm willing to pick it up again if this situation is addressed. Reading through all these comments across multiple posts saddens me to no end. I personally never spent any money on ingame items, but I feel bad for everyone here who has invested so much into this game just for the transfer to fumble the ball at the goal line. Bungie, I'm sure you have a crack team working on this (I mean, I HOPE you have a team working on this.) But you gotta give us something here. We need an ETA or at the very least a reassuring post to bring up the morale of your dedicated player base. This feels like an informal geeksquad appointment more than an anything else. These forums and your twitter are not enough. And this 'we flipped a switch, try the transfer again for the umpteenth time' ain't doing it. I feel a lot of us at the very least just want to know we are being heard here.

        • I'm a hairs breath from just getting a steam refund for Shadowkeep and just writing Destiny off forever. Day 4 of not being able to play while all my friends are now raid ready and I won't be able to join them. I've sunk way too many hours into Destiny 2 to just start over, and I refuse to start a new steam account to simply play, as it seems like that would resolve my issue. This is absolutely unacceptable. My PC account was migrated weeks ago only to find out that the process didn't take, and now my "New Destiny Account" steam profile has basic licenses that the PC move is refusing to overwrite. Moreover, you don't have a support ticket system to file case by case issues, only these forums. What modern gaming company doesn't have a support ticket system to help resolve not widespread but gamebreaking issues. We're running thin on patience here Bungie, we've tried to be helpful, posting relevant issues, screenshots and what we've done to try and troubleshoot it in hopes it would help you guys figure out the root cause. But your communication on this issue has been relegated to "We're looking into it". While you may not have answers for us, that just feels terrible when we've given you/steam our hard earned money expecting an product/experience. Please help us, and if you can't, I'll just take my business elsewhere.

          • https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 At the bottom of this page is a form you can fill out. That's what I did and bungie resolved this issue for me 2 days later. I recommend trying it.

            • Yes, exactly the same issue. The problem is the PC Move does not overwrite if there is already some bungie data on your steam account - either as a result of a partial migration previously or some other issue. We can re-do the process, but since it won't overwrite it just continues to show the existing (typically broken and useless) content of the steam account. BUNGIE, bloody well fix it. I'm a software developer, I find it hard to understand why you thought there wouldn't be a need to re-apply the PC move process and whether it should overwrite content that has not been logged into. Maddening. I suspect making a new steam account just for Destiny might work... Madfish

              • This is a -SERIOUS- problem! I'm in the exact same scenario. 500+ Hours locked away behind a greyed out unlink button. Completely ridiculous! I'm usually a big supporter but something so small causing so much grief without a word in response to it is just destroying faith. Bungie you need to do somthing.

              • I have the exact same issue, the ticket support has rejected my ticket, and none of my posts on the forum get any attention from moderators. If anyone is interested you can send a ticket by using this link and opening the bottom most button "Contact Help". This is ridiculous, why don't they have a normal help-desk system. I have no clue how they expect a player to know their exact predicament, as if they know it themselves......

                • I bought forsaken on pc after the pc prep for moving to steam opened up, but now forsaken will not carry over to steam. Have not seen a fix for that yet. Luckily I have it on ps4 as well, so just playing there for now.

                • it says both battlenet and steam pc accounts are linked on profile but in progress on pc move page, when clicking on check status it says transfer error.
