So Destiny 2: Forsaken just died before leaving the starting line
Warframe just revealed its upcoming content. The most interesting of which is a brand new open world space which is completely fresh aesthetically and with brand new enemies. You can craft whatever weapon you want choosing the barrel, stock etc. You can follow animal tracks and capture animals. You can do bounties for a reward out of a selection you know. You can also ride hoverboards that look 10x more fun than Destiny's sparrows.
Oh yeah. You can also fly into space and engage in massive space battles where you can leave your ship and fly into the enemies and neutralise them.
And whats that? Its all completely free
GG. Warframe wins again. Destiny is completely dead.

In comparison to Destiny, Warframe has: - terrible shooting mechanics - lots of sponge bosses - 3rd person perspective (not a good thing) - boring guns, weapons, and abilities - terrible guides that basically tell you nothing - no interesting mods, perks, or anything involving creativity - EXTREMELY boring and repetitive worlds and playspaces - pay to win I think it's pretty obvious why Destiny is more popular. You can keep playing that snooze fest if you want, but myself and most other players would rather play something that doesn't feel like a chore.

Warframe didn’t kill destiny 2 Bungie did by being literally the laziest devs with the largest amount of tools at their disposal. Even EA isn’t this lazy with their games.

7 RepliesI’m not going to get in the Warframe vs Destiny debate. Both games have their merits and their drawbacks. I will have to give Digital Extremes their props, though. That’s a [i]substantial[/i] amount of content. For free. Bungie can go a long way learning quite a few things from DE. That said, Warframe isn’t my cup of tea. I gave it multiple chances and they were all a no-go for me. Never cared for the base gameplay. Destiny has the better feel. But DE gives the better support and customer care. Bungie has an undercurrent of customer contempt, and it’s shown throughout Destiny’s history even to today.

Every character from every smash game in one roster plus newcomers and you don’t have to pay extra money for any of that. Nintendo knows what their players want

Warframe has one of the most aggressive and intrusive microtransaction schemes in video-gaming.
