What are your guys' opinions on attunements? Do you like this simplification or do you like the free reign of your subclass? Is it better or worse for gameplay? Will it affect your class choice?
I'll miss the freedom of my own subclass choices
I sortve love and hate it in which it can lead to more viable choices for more situations, but its a double edged sword, where you want 2 abilities from one tree and 1 from another. I can't vote on it. I trust bungie

If this simplification leads to smoother gameplay with the subclasses, I'm all for it. Too early to tell now. ~TheGreatNike

Balancing will be easier with them, but it's a bummer for PvE.
-
It's good for pvp because balancing will be easier but like a lot of D2 stuff it's a hard blow to pve where customization mattered a lot for each encounter.

Let's wait and see. On the scale of Pumped - - - - - Intrigued - - - - - Concerned, I'm intrigued about this one.
-
It's almost the same amount of diversity that we have now so it could only be better
-
Many of the subclasses ended up getting the crap nerfed out of them, so it really can't get any worse than what's going on now.

Edited by Zelrons: 6/12/2017 3:12:58 AMMost perks are designed to be used together. There's little "freedom" to lose, which is the only complaint against it. With predetermined sets of perks it makes the game much easier to balance, and as a result there can actually be stronger perks with good synergy without risking breaking the game. Since the perks are in sets it also creates more clearly defined roles. You don't think about it like this either, but because there are less choices the choices you're left with have more weight.

I SAY THEE NAY!!!!!

variety is the spice of life.

For the meantime I dislike it, but I'll give it time. Perhaps there's more to it than we realize.
-
I'll keep a open mind and test it before I judge, so far I'm a little towards yay, it allows each perk to have a little more impact and makes both pve and pvp balance a much easier factor.
-
i can understand why they did it, it will make it way easier to balance the game for pvp with less possible player variation, but i hate the idea of our character build being "dumbed down". It reminds me of the the difference between character building in mass effect 1 and mass effect 2. jus

I like it. I gives players a much more clear idea of the kind of role they can fufill in a Fireteam, as well as running solo.
-
I saw give it time, full game may show more options and may work better than it looks dear
-
It's a good idea, but the fact that if you don't like a perk you can't deselect it (angel of light anyone?) or if you really like a perk you can't add it to the tree (descend?) kind of spoils the system.
-
I'll bump because who doesn't like a yay or nay.

I can't say at the moment til I get quality time with each one, too early to tell right now.
