It's almost the same amount of diversity that we have now so it could only be better

I have 10-12 different builds that I use for my hunter and I switch between nearly all of them in one day, and those are just the ones that I like. Now, per class I only have 6 builds tops. What if I don't like some of those builds, now I have even less. What if one build is straight up better than the other in every way? Now there are even less. How is that in any way, even close to the amount of customization that I had in D1, when D1 had almost DOUBLE the options that I liked than there even are available in D2. That makes no sense. Plus, I always found it amazing when I looked at someone's build that I had never seen before, now there is no more of that. How can that possible be better.

2 builds per subclass (that's what I'm seeing atm) is more than what I currently use/see it's an upgrade
-
That's not true for everyone tho, as I have shown you
-
It's true for a big part of the community it seems
-
So what?, just -blam!- whoever it isn't true for?! That literally pushes away a chunk of the community. Also, if I only wanted 2 builds for my class, I can already do that in destiny 1, I already had that option, so why make everyone make that same decision?
-
Lol it doesn't alienate anyone
-
It alienates people who have more than 2 builds per subclass
-
-_- sorry you don't like better abilities
-
It's not about the abilities being better. I already said that would be a better solution than what they are doing, it's about not being able to choose between those better abilities
-
Seriously? I only have 2 builds maximum for the entire game. There's not enough reason to use over half the perks
-
Even if that were true for 100% of the community, the solution is not to take away customization, the solution is to just make better perks. WHITCH BY THE WAY, THEY HAVE ALREADY CLEARLY DONE IN D2, so what reason is there to take away the options we once had?
-
They streamlined it and honestly I prefer what they are doing
