20 moldering shard glitch
I just beat oryx on my Titan for this week and I had 37 shards, when I killed him me and several other people in my fire team lost there 20 and didn't receive any extra drops. It was all of our first time beating him for the week and personally only got 2 shards and 1 cheats BUT IT TOOK MY 20 SHARDS!!! Please help

12 RepliesThe 20 shards doesn't guarantee a drop. It only increases your chances of drop. You lose the 20 whether you get rewarded or not (just like the 3 of coins)

The chest armor was the reward for your 20 shards. Oryx himself dropped 2 shards and nothing else because you got an unlucky RNG roll. 20 moldering shards adds this pool to oryx boots Chest Arms Shotgun Sniper Machinegun Class item Ghost Without the shards oryx will drop 2 moldering shards. With a small chance to receive a helmet or primary weapon. That is it

3 RepliesThis seems to be happening to a lot of people. For one, did you check to make sure that you guys had room in your inventory? I hear that if you don't have room, you don't get the drop. I think Bungie should address this issue, considering it pertains to a challenging end-game content. It's discouraging to hear these stories because I barely find time to play, so I'm afraid if I do complete the raid, I'll face the same issue.

3 RepliesHi, When you say you received 2 shards and 1 cheats, do you mean chest? If so, that was your extra drop. The chest was most likely your extra roll and the shards were probably your normal roll (much like how you could get shards or energy as a drop from previous raids)
