Latest & Trending basically refer to the same threads

It would be nice if "Latest" was organized by post creation date. Currently its organized by most recent replies, but this just makes the Latest List the same basic list as the Trending list. If you really feel a recent reply listing is necessary than just add that as a separate sort. Just some helpful ideas, I hope they are just that :)

  • "Latest" is sorted by most recently replied. "Trending" is a combination of rating and latest, favoring more recently created threads. It can often appear to look like latest, but tends to focus on topics people are upvoting as well as replying in. A sort by creation date is generally not relevant - it isn't where active discussion is happening, and in a forum as fast moving as this one, is often no different than noise.

    • I just clicked on "Latest" and there is this thread "If Xur sold a Ghost shell for 20 strange coins would you buy it?" at the top; which at the time I went there had 553 comments and 70 thumbs up... clearly not the "latest" thread to be posted... More like a "trending" thread...

Um, latest and trending are completely different for me (using the app). Nothing in trending in #help has had a new reply for 27+ minutes
