Legendary DLC Remedy (Saving Fatebringer)

After the recent preview, the whole forum's buzzing about the exotics upgrade controversy. So I'm not going to get into that, but rather the future of our current beloved legendary gear. I know I wasn't the only one that got a sour taste in their mouth at the thought of some of our favorite guns suddenly becoming obsolete. Finally finding that Fatebringer you've been working towards forever only to discover it'll be outclassed by every new legendary in less than a week. Or knowing that a new level cap based on raid gear just means everyone will be clones of each other in just a months time. Well I think I may have a solution to both these problems and I'd like to get some feedback on what everyone thinks about it. The way it would work is after you finally hit the level 32 cap with a full set of the new raid gear, you return to Eris with it all equipped and a "Radiant Infusion Bounty" will be available for 10 Motes of Light. You can only buy one infusion bounty at time and it would bind with a fully upgraded piece of Legendary gear and make it unavailable until the completion of the bounty. The bounty would progress similiar to an exotic bounty, but with 5 randomized steps. At the end of the bounty, your piece of gear is returned with all previous upgrades intact and a new additional upgrade node that now requires radiant material. In the case of weapons, it would only apply to pre-DLC guns and would merely raise their max damage to the new DLC norm, allowing people to keep that favorite rifle of their's revelant. For armor, it would raise the piece to level 32 quality. This would allow people to customize their armor to their taste while maintaining their Light level, yet still requiring the multiple Raid attempts till all the raid gear is collected. In fact, it might motivate people to get all that raid gear even more just so they start upgrading their other gear. So everyone gets to add some variation their armor, no more clones, vendor armor's suddenly worth buying, you get to bring new life to your old reliable weapons, the VoG stays relevant with it's gear no longer being left behind, DLC would still be required, you'd still have to work for raid gear to be able to do it, and people would be playing the game more just to obtain that perfect piece of armor to complete their build; actually using the different stats and perks to create the ultimate Guardian without worrying about being underleveled. Everbody's happy! Edit: Wow! It's not very often I see a thread so full of support and devoid of naysayers! Thanks everyone and keep it up! :D Now it's been brought to my attention the 5 steps per bounty might be a it much if your going for a full set of armor. So maybe about 3 steps might be a bit less tedious. Also it occured to me that there might be technical issues regarding simply adding an additional upgrade node, seeing as Bungie wasn't too keen on that when it came to exotics. So perhaps it could be made so that the legendaries turn into a fresh upgraded version (with their original perks intact) that requires radiant materials after the bounty's completion. Something more in line with the exotic's upgrade process so that it's easier to implement (plus legendaries upgrade fast anyways). As usual tell me what you think, and keep voicing your support so that Bungie takes notice.
