Mass effect trilogy. I don't know of any other game that had such drastic results in the decision making. People would die and I would be like noooooo. I remember I do something and Tali died, I turned off my Xbox so nothing would save. It took me a minute to compose myself...

The legend of dragoon on psone... One of the first rpg's to really stand out with it's combat mechanics.. It was turn based, but you could couter your opponents in real time by timing a parry, it had a great story, super cool (although occasionally inappropriate) special attacks and hosted memerable charecters with branching story arcs.. this one really needs a reboot..

Life is Strange, seriously. The game is NOT a tumblr game, and actually gets dark in the later episodes. I'm even tempted to say LiS is even darker then the newest MGS game. The game puts thought in everything it does, such as motives, setting and even character psychological reasoning. What may seem as reality, may not actually be true once you learn of the truth. Also RP wise, every decision you make counts, even the smallest of decision. Not talking to someone at the right time, or doing something can completely alter something in game. It's one of my favorite games of the year, and all I love are military sims

Dark Cloud 2 was the first RPG I fell in love with. The time travel mechanic is completely illogical but the story, gameplay, and mechanics hold up to this day. The first series I got engrossed in was Star Ocean. I played Till the End of Time first on ps2 and couldn't stop myself from getting the PSP remakes of the first 2. I even enjoyed A New Hope.

SKYRIM HD because it needs to be made.

Edited by Skyrender6: 9/7/2015 2:39:48 AMI can't recommend Ni No Kuni enough. The game is a masterpiece of JRPGs. Everything about it is executed perfectly. The story is epic but very easy to follow like the best of the traditional JRPGs of the early to mid-90s. The gameplay was addicting as hell. And the graphics and sound were stunning. It's a shame that this game wasn't a best seller--it probably should have released on xbox as well to get more exposure, but then again it probably wouldn't have sold enough anyways because there's no accounting for taste, as they say. Seriously, I don't understand why so much garbage sells millions while awesome games like Ni No Kuni are only moderate successes if they're lucky.

Edited by H6LO: 10/16/2015 2:53:33 PMDragon Age: Origins The Dark Spawn looks stupid and unoriginal in that game, the level designs are atrociously small and linear... the combat can be a tedious chore that requires a great deal of baby sitting and micromanaging. The relationships don't really feel like relationships most of the time, consequences sometimes are not fleshed out as much as they could be, its also very time consuming. 9/10
