I'm not getting any legendary stuff... HELP!!!
I am a level 25 warlock who was done all sorts of farming techniques as well as hard strikes but I still have no legendary items and I am getting very impatient. (I do have an exotic helmet but I got that from xûr and I also have a legendary bond but I got that for 2500 glimmer from dead orbit).
I have been playing destiny for ages and I am still only getting loads of uncommon and often rare items. I'm also very annoyed how even at level 25, I am still not getting any legendary stuff.
I have two good friends who play destiny, one who is now a level 27 hunter started getting legendary things at level 23 and yet I am two levels higher than that and I still don't have any legendary stuff!!!
My other friend, quite a while ago, had the same problem but now he is only one level higher than me and he is almost fully decked out with legendary armour and weapons.
If anyone else is getting the same thing or has dealt with it please comment, if you also have a very affective way of getting legendary items that doesn't take hours, please also comment and let me know

1 ReplyWork on vanguard rep by doing bounties and tiger strikes.. once you hit level 2 for vanguard rep, you can buy legendary armour. The helmet will cost 120 vanguard marks but everything else is 65. Max out on marks (100 is weekly cap) and you will get one piece a week. More then likely you will get legendary engram in the process of doing strikes, whether they are for your class is another story. Try to buy an exotic helmet from xur or you will have to save up one week to get the helmet. Everything I have I bought except for my exotics which I got as rewards for strikes.

2 RepliesWhy in the world aren't you buying legendaries in the tower? You should have tons of vanguard marks and reputation by now. You can get to level 28 with that and one exotic from Xur.

1 ReplyI was in the same boat as you a while back; I'm also a Warlock (Level 29 now). The first thing I did was focus on getting my Vanguard Level to at least 3; you get a free gift from Ikora everytime you level up your Vanguard from that point onwards. You should be able to hit Level 27 without applying any Ascendent Shards to your armor. Next, form a FireTeam to tackle the Weekly NightFall, Heroic & Heroic Strike for Legendary items - Ascendent Materials, Armor, Weapons, Motes Of Light and Strange Coins; completing Weekly NightFall gives you 20% boost on anything! Then, keep an eye out for Xur, Agent Of The Nine, who appears from Friday morning to Sunday morning and check if there's an Exotic armor piece you can buy for 13 Strange Coins or an Exotic Weapon for 17-23 Strange Coins (depending on weapon). If you're feeling brave and lucky, you can spend 25 Motes Of Light for a Yellow Engram for the Cryptarch to decrypt! If you do all those things, you're ready to tackle on The Vault Of Glass Raid for raid gear/weapon drops. I hope this helps you out! :D

Buy legendary armour from the vanguards at the tower, or legendary guns from the vanguard quartermaster in the hanger.

I haven't got a legendary for about a month it's called legendarys for a reason they don't pop out like crazy.

I have just done the grinding to get the vanguard marks or crucible marks(factions) to buy the items. To back up what was already mentioned, definitely do the daily heroic mission.

5 RepliesIt's rng all over. Rank up your vanguard and not faction. Level 28 and only had 2 legendary. 1 from cryptanalysis 1 from rank 3 new monarch. Bought all my exotics and legendary armour and weapons. Bought the truth from xur on Fri and got my 2nd exotic drop. It was the truth. Do your daily public event and daily story on at least 24. This will eventually give you enough shards to get to level 27. A fully leveled exotic gets you to level 29. Do the weekly strike and nightfall. Not as hard as you think.

2 RepliesGet to a higher level, and they'll drop more often. I believe that's how it works, plus it's an RNG. I'm level 29 and legendaries rarely drop for me.
