Why in the world aren't you buying legendaries in the tower? You should have tons of vanguard marks and reputation by now. You can get to level 28 with that and one exotic from Xur.

I'm only lvl 25 actually and I'm am trying to rank up my vanguard and dead orbit enough to get some good stuff Rank 1 is useless

Agreed about rank 1. Leveling rank isn't very hard though.
