Can't hear specific friend in fireteam for ps3 (no they're not muted, and yes they have a mic)
Here's what we've tried so far:
Switching out mics
Changing fireteam privacy settings
Changing privacy settings for ps3 in general
De-friending and refriending each other
No restrictions or bans on our account to our knowledge
It only happens in fireteam chat we able to chat just fine in other games. Internet connection isn't a problem either because i've been playing in the same house as another person and they can hear both of us just fine. Any help would be appreciated I miss his beautiful voice already...

1 ReplyI've solved my issue and it may be the same for everyone else. Turns out its most likely your router blocking ports. After setting up a static IP and forwarding some ports i no longer have this issue. I suggest every who is having the issue check there connection status and look at their NAT level. A quick google search will tell you how to setup a static ip with your router for your ps4 and what ports to forward for it.
