This has been happening now for days, sometimes while playing destiny this extremely high pitched noise starts going off and never stops, if I complete what I was doing at the time it's still there, traveling throughout the planets it's still there, and it's not there on any other app or game I own on Xbox One, so far the only way I've actually been able to shut it off, is to close destiny and restart it... This bug might not even be noticeable to your ears or to many players, but if tolerated too long it causes my head to hurt. Clearly this is bad...please fix this! Please don't just ignore this post like nothing is wrong!!!
EDIT: If you're having this issue a solution has been found, go to your Xbox One settings and then to display/sound, and where it says chat mixer hit that and turn the setting to "do nothing", regardless of whether you use your Kinect to chat, it will still fix the issue. -Credit for this goes to PsychoPineapple.

In order to fix this for the Xbox One, go to settings, select display and sound. Under Volume, select chat mixer. Set chat mixer to Do nothing. This should correct the issue. I had the same problem in the Beta, it works.

Happens when your controller is charging for some reason...

I believe Microsoft actually made an announcement regarding this. I'll post a link. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/09/09/microsoft-offers-to-replace-excessively-noisy-xbox-ones.aspx Hope this helps.

I've had the same problem i thought it was my tv. Even the voices and audio become digitally messed up as well while the noise is going. Going to try the party closing option tomorrow.

Thought I was going crazy.

It's a bug that happens when you have party chat open. Restart the party app if it still happens hold down the power button on your consoul.

been having that problem. what i do is just quit game then restart up
-
That's an issue with Xbone and you should check with Microsoft for a replacement console

Edited by NotAHumanshield: 9/15/2014 3:07:49 AMoh I thought it was just my crap sound system. I too get this high pitched noise and it gets annoying fast. I have tried restarting destiny but that only helps for about maybe 10 minutes then it comes back. Had this problem in the beta as well. Its definitely destiny. I just tried it using netflix, after the high pitched noise started on destiny, and I had no such noise while watching netflix.
