I've had the same problem i thought it was my tv. Even the voices and audio become digitally messed up as well while the noise is going. Going to try the party closing option tomorrow.

Yeah, basically when it happens every single sound produced by the game also produces a high pitched ring, not a pulse, just a solid tone. The louder the noise the louder the tone... Bungie really needs to get on this.

yeah its really annoying especially when ghost or an exo is talking in scenes.
