F*CK YES!!!!
I turned the xbox on and for no reason the disktray popped open (as you know it was jammed like a bitch).
So I can finally play DarkSouls 2!!! -blam!- yeah!! See ya soon, I have some dying to do.
This game is f*cking easy -_-

6 RepliesThere's a way I found to open jammed disk trays. Usually when you press the open button, there is a brief second of silence followed by a struggling mechanical whirr as the disk tray tries to open, then it stops and resets itself. I've found that if you get your nails under the disc tray and apply constant upward pressure, press the open tray button, wait for it to whirr for about a second and then promptly pull your fingers upward and away, the disc tray will instantly open. You have to get the timing just right for when you pull your hand away, but it works with my 5-year-old Xbox 360 and a few of my friends'.
