    Did anyone notice the bit about races hinted at having equal base stats? [quote] It's like, bam. I'm going to be a robot. I was hoping for something like WoW where you have varying base stats and perhaps a racial ability. For instance, Exo, some kind of tazer/stun ability. Humans, scavenge. Awoken, perhaps confuse an enemy. Teleport a short distance? Be better at crafting. --- I'm gonna go off on one about skills as well. Will we see our skills as a set number? I think it'd be cool for us to 'feel' our character get better at something without actually seeing a set number increase.

          • Good stuff, OP. It was a very good read, from a very good source. Lots of interesting information in there. I specifically liked the discussion over the storyline and how they touched on mixing a fixed narrative vs player-created stories. Character creation also is always a [i]huge[/i] part of the game for me (I may just be spoiled by The Elder Scrolls, so the bar is set pretty high in terms of character creation...), so I was very happy with the bit of enlightenment that they gave us in that regard. Good to go.
