This poll will most likely accomplish nothing, but if it gets enough votes, the evidence will speak for itself.
Why can’t bungie just give us back our maps at least for just D2? Would it actually take a lot of their resources to just put them back?
Goodwill updates don’t really happen from bungie so it seems silly to assume it would change especially now. Actual meaningful fixes take years/don’t even happen (i.e., vault space, postmaster space) meanwhile, one legendary shard exploit gets patched in 4 hours, which shows they know the state of the game very well, but don’t care about “helping” the game unless it starts bleeding them even in the slightest way.
The reason QOL updates are still necessary is because bungie doesn’t want to sacrifice any of that “green glimmer” to correctly make this broken game.
Bungie can do whatever they want to their game, but if they’d do it right, they wouldn’t have flak, but instead a good reputation and honestly, more money.

Edited by Daemon White: 8/9/2023 6:55:23 PMConsider there are currently 25 maps. 27 by Final Shape. 8 Maps remain vaulted. 7 by Final Shape. Marathon is in development. Final Shape leaks have no known seasons in existence atm. Maybe I'm not as much of a PvP enjoyer in D2, but 27 maps feels like a lot. Gambit only has 3, 4 after Final Shape launches. Still leaves 1 vaulted map. Why was that not an anger point until more recently? If Final Shape's launch truly is the end, let it end at that. D1 servers remain up even today, D2's servers won't go anywhere either.
