I mean I see no reason for them to be the only things in the game that can't use shaders. I would love to have my Quickfang with a red blade.

Swords should have their own slots. Not in the Power slot Melee weapon slot. Also give us Axes

I agree with you there. There are few things more disappointing than finding out you can't put your favourite shader on your favourite sword =(. Slightly off topic but not entirely, what's with the way that swords are holstered on your back now??? Is it just me that is extremely bothered by how horizontal they are or is anyone else bothered by it also?

I always figured it was because all the swords have their own unique look. Like how you can't add a Shader to an exotic weapon because they're all unique and they have their own individual skin to equip to them. 🤷🏾♂️

I've been thinking about this since Day 1 of D2! As someone who's been a Sword wielder main since they were first introduced into D1, the moment I found out Swords were a bit more of a thing in D2 and there was a Weapon Shader system I got super excited. Hope they add this in the near future. I would LOVE to shader my Titan's Crown Splitter to match my Iron Lord look I have on my Armor

Because that would cost bungie money. Duh.

agreed, but let me expand why don't we have an exotic sword, i'm mean even if it was trash it would let us not rely on a once a week thing to keep our swords relevant level.

I was just having this conversation last night. This is a huge oversight
