Court of Oryx activating during story mission?
So if you're familiar with the Achievement Hunters, you'll know they get lost easily.
Ryan got lost and somehow, during the "Enter the Dreadnaught" mission, activated the Court of Oryx at about 10:40.
Out pops Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota, which I believe is a tier 3 court of oryx boss (maybe)
Am I missing something, or did they somehow open the portal without a RUNE, and with NO ONE ELSE THERE?
Has this been discovered before?

I saw this during the mission because I'm an explorer and I was like WTF IS THIS OMG HOLY SHT I think its just there to show you that there is something that takes place there but that it's for another time and not during this mission.

It's just a teaser/easter egg for the Tier 3 court of oryx. Coincidentally, he is the T3 boss this week. Works exactly like a mini Crota fight.

1 ReplyI happened across it a couple days ago..... I figured he despawned because I ran out of the court. So I grabbed a couple buddies and we tried like 6 times to kill him but couldn't figure anything out without him being immune or despawning. That being said I think he is the white knight you see talking to Oryx in one or two of the cut scenes.
