7 Repliesbefore Destiny: he was the Bungie.net Community Manager after Destiny: he's now an Alcoholic drug addict who has been driven to the brink of madness by us. he hears our whiny voices in his head, and his face twitches when he hears "nerf" ,"suck" or "Update". he breaks down into tears while writing updates, knowing the pain that is to come. he would do anything to quit his current job, and become a master of Wordplay. he has been mentally scarred by his time dealing with us, and is now pitied by everyone, even by Sewage Workers, who deal with less shit than he does. (nothing against Sewage Workers btw). and on top of all that, most of his friends and colleagues have been replaced by the Materialistic, money-grabbing, selfish and uncaring staff of Activision, whose boss whips DeeJ whenever he says something nice to us, while wearing a Dominatrix outfit that was bought with the money from CoD camo packs. every day is a rough day at work. you hate Mondays? not as much as he hates Thursdays.

1 ReplyIt's plain to see that the truly talented Bungie members either left or were fired. Those running Bungie now put screwing over their players as their biggest priority. No Story, No Vision, Lies upon Lies as to how Expansive, Mysterious and Enthralling Destiny would be. Destiny has a Mad-Lib produced plot, Brain Dead Enemy AI, Zero Surprises, just Endless Repetition. It has the most Boring and Dead game worlds ever encountered. What a GD waste. No way is Destiny gonna last 10 years in this appalling state! I'd say Destiny 2 actually getting made is a long-shot. Players have good reason to feel betrayed and let down by Destiny. Bungies former stellar reputation has been demolished, never again will pre-order or buy a Bungie game without giving reviewers time to find out how awful it is.

Well I would have to say if there is any thing I would like them to tell me it would have to be way they sold us all a big fat lie. I waiting for this game to come out for what felt like a life time I was so hyped up about it. I followed moreconsole for the better part of a year getting ready to play want was going to be the best game ever. Instead I was left with a itch I could not scratch left rocking in a corner still waiting for the game that had be sold to me in the adds. to find that when I got the game home I would finish it very quickly and still not really know any thing about the game because there really is no story in the game. and yet I did not give up on this game i went out and got my self the DLC in the hope that this is where all the story was going to be hiding but it was so wrong. still I dont have the game i spent the money on they sold a game on lies. If they want to fix this game the bungie need to go back and look at the adds about the game they put out there and try to put in some of the shit they said was going to be in it. The game for me sucks really badly and needs help fast before they lose all there fans. oh and a big thing for me bungie you need to put some chat system in so i can find people in the game to play with and i dont mean voice chat. go look at warframe and start there witch is a free to play game and is way better than than this right now

1 ReplyWell the update every Thursday has died a death so not much at the moment. I feel sorry for him as he is the face of Destiny, is getting a ton of flak and it is far from his fault. To be honest, I think Bungievision have totally underestimated the impact this POS dlc would have on the playerbase. They need to stop telling people they are listening and just be honest. It's a disaster PR job from start to finish. Overpromised then underdelivered. We aren't stupid.

Edited by BeanTwenty3: 12/19/2014 12:21:32 PMhes either a Community manager or an account which bungie employe's log into to reply to things and post updates so we all have a common "person" to aim everything at, usually community managers, who's jobs are to literally read the forums reply if or when nessacery or when asked to/told to, also to take notes and give them to the developers and creative directors, usually has contact with the whole company and usually has a lot of sway with people an in general good standing. as for the updates he actually probably has next to no input as to what goes into them, he can suggest and probably edit but they are probably handed to him, its not a community update its a bungie update. thats from an actual professional / job perspective.
