I personally think poll answer 2 would be ideal. My argument is that you cant get much of a spree going when everyone at some point gets their super at least once because it charges automatically based on intelligence.
If poll answer 2 would go into effect (not that it would) id recommend switching what intelligence does now to making it increase the amount your super charges when you get kills or assists.
Ive always been against the idea of giving someone something for nothing in video games. For example CoD death streaks, why reward someone for being bad? Its obviously to please the masses but imo it hurts the gameplay. The way supers charge now is a form of what i mentioned above.
Your thoughts? Keep it nice please :)

Edited by MysticJon: 10/4/2014 1:06:30 AMI'm fine with supers in the Crucible, but not when they come along as often as they do currently. The super gauge should fill up only through getting kills or assists or playing the objective. There should be no natural charge to it. There should be no super orbs. And it should charge slowly. Just as an example, an individual player should on average only get maybe 2 supers per game. This is all for PvP only I mean. In PvE they're fine as is. I'm just sick of getting hit with super after super after super. It makes me turn the game off, it really does. The other day I was playing a game of Clash. Around the half way mark I was hit with Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc, Fist of Havoc, Arc Blade, Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc, Golden Gun. 7 consecutive deaths all to supers. Situations like that should never happen. Now regardless of if supers in PvP change or not, what I really really want is a Barebones type of mode. No supers. No weapon or armor abilities. No special class abilities. No level advantages. No stat modifiers (intellect, discipline, strength, etc). Just guns, melee, grenades and double jump. That's it. I would love a game mode like this and I think many others would as well.

This poll is ridiculous. 3 or 4 supers a game is easy. 6 people. That's an easy 18 supers per team a game. Ridiculous. One hit kill isn't fun, people bitch about shotguns but not supers and rockets? Heavy ammo needs to be reduced to only the middle "B" point and you shouldn't be getting more than 2 supers a game. I'd actually enjoy some challenge in PvP. I don't appreciate half my deaths being from panic supers and rockets. Heavy and supers should be rare.

50 50 . I hate when I get killed by them I love when I kill people with it.

Edited by NEXtX3N: 10/3/2014 4:54:43 PMSupercharged players should appear differently on the radar, so people actually have the potential to react and use counter-strategies, like we all said in the Beta.
-
They are fine, they are called super after all not mediocres lol I still wouldn't mind a mode with no supers or radars though!
-
I like them, but I still want an hardcore mode
-
Why can't people let destiny be what it is and stop trying to change it into another game.
-
I think there should be a mode in the Crucible that has no supers whatsoever. I also think there should be a mode where all player stats (Intellect, Discipline, Strength) are the same, and only legendary gear is usable, and all gear has all ability upgrades unlocked for the matches themselves.
-
Make a game mode with no shotguns/fusion rifles and no supers. Then I'll be happy.
-
Supers are just fine.
-
Like I always say: Supers are SUPER because they are SUPERS. It's not like they last forever.
-
Sure make a playlist no super so cry babies can have a place to play but stop changing the damn game . The worst thing about destiny is all these complaining cry baby kids.
-
How Do You Feel About Supers
Well...
in Crucible
Lel who even care
-
Id be cool with a game mode that didn't involve supers

Hunter's super should be [conditionally] nerfed in PVP, They are somewhat OP, but not too OP, the problem is there are just too many hunters, it's so common to see 4 hunters in a team in crucible now. If there are only 1-2 hunters in a team in a 6v6 game, it has no problem; but when there are 4 golden guns/light sabers continues show up 3-5 minutes into match, you can do nothing but get slaughtered. Your team sacrificed 2 member to take down a light saber, and before you can even breath, next light saber pop up cut you in half. Then they will have their score bump 3k-5k in less than 2 minutes. So, nerf them, but only nerf them when there are more than 3 hunters in a team, by simply make their super gage grow slower - the ratio depends on number of hunters in a team.
-
it would be fine if the regular recharge rate was normalized for everyone and a there were standard recharge bonuses for assists and kills / orbs. they should just equalize and normalize all pvp stats across the board for players, guns, armor so winning is then solely determined by skill and how you manage the map, drops and supers. make iron banner a permanent or more frequent option for those that want the bonuses so everyone's happy ( ?)
-
How I think supers should work in pvp. You start fully charged, but once you use it it's gone for the rest of the match.
-
I wouldn't mind a game mode where supers were turned off.
-
2 second super recharge rate 3 bars of shields No weapons Final Destination
-
Got 15kill sprees a few times and often 5-10. It's not hard to avoid supers if you play smart.. I feel like people just rush in expecting not to die instead of playing smart. >.>
-
I'm used to them now. But I think it would be nice to have a mode with them removed.
-
My thoughts? This is Destiny. Supers are an integral part of the game. They stay and are fine.
-
Keep them but make a mode were thiers no supers. Like halo swat. no shields, no radar
-
I don't feel much, to be honest. Supers usually kill me before I have a chance to.
-
For the people that don't want supers in PvP go play halo. For the people saying kills and points should charge bar only. Go play cod. This is destiny. Do you hop on battlefield complaining there isn't an alien spaceship? No you don't. Enjoy the game the way it was made. Stop trying to turn it into something else.
-
I thought supers were going to be OP before I played crucible, but they only get people maybe 1-2 kills at a time, then it takes forever to charge it again. Kills speed it up, so if you're good, you get a super more often, if you suck, you get one less often and will probably mess it up anyways. Supers are fine the way they are.
