Destiny to be heavily censored in Austraila
So as you guys know, Aushitrailia is known for censoring video games because video games always cause violence in young adults (see MW2). Apparently they did not like the fast paced violence, and the female character options. They stated the females facial features were too "feminine" and may give younger children erecti0nz. This will be solved by either omitting females, or making last minute changes to features. As for the action, they stated the Titans' "ground pound" was seen as too violent for a T-rated game. It will be replaced with a more child friendly "nudge". This is used by targeting enemies, then quickly dashing forward and giving them a super charged friendly bump. Unfortunately, the article was taken down due to the immense amount of pissed off Aussies. I'm still trying to find the article elsewhere. Sorry Aussies. 3 RepliesAlways thought of Australia as a cool place, but censorship for video games sucks. I believe mortal.kombat is outright banned. It is banned here in Germany too but you can easily get it from UK if you're above 18.

5 RepliesFirstly it's mainly excessive violence that gets banned in australia, drugs too. Sex, nudity and profanity are everywhere on TV here. Lived in the US for 6 years AND wow are you guys treated like children with your censorship. I would personally like children to think the natural act of sex is natural not shooting people in the face.

2 RepliesAustralian classerfercation board is a group of randomy selected people. They all vote on what should be in or out of games. Bungie did not make a childs game. Bungie made the game Destiny. It's goverments who put the Ratings on the games not Bungie. If there is any thuth to your statment Destiny would only get a R18+ cassifercation With nothing removed. You talk of a T rating, australia has no T classercation for any games.
